One America News’ Pearson Sharp visited the war-torn town of Douma outside the capital of Damascus, looking for evidence of a chemical attack. However, residents there deny the claims of an attack, and say it was staged to help the rebels escape.

It was probably easy to verify if anyone bothered.
IF we were wrong, we blew up a lot of Syrian chemical weapons on mis-information.

One guy interviewed in TV news said they blew up his lifetime of pharmaceutical research.
There were no chemical weapons in the buildings we hit. Multiple sources confirm this, including OPCW & videos taken at the sites in the hours following the strikes.
This comment, about this news organization is very accurate. They really do attempt to bring the news without bias. I would be very doubtful if CNN or BBC made this claim, but these people have the traditional view of the call of JOURNALISM.
Who allowed this reporter in country and who lined up the people to be interviewed?

News has largely become an entertainment production.
Not all of it, thank goodness.
There is a place for almost everyone on the internet, if you don’t care about audience sizes.
You can believe the people that were lined up to talk to the Western reporter, I'll remain wildly skeptical.
The latest story is that the Russians and Syrians will not let the inspectors on the site where the attack occurred.

If the intelligence was bad to begin with, how do we know what was blown up? Unfortunately, U.S. intelligence has been having a problem with credibility lately. Intelligence is vital for an effective foreign policy. Remember when the Iraqis were throwing babies out of incubators? Most people still believe that Reagan killed Qadaffi’s daughter. The Nazis made human lampshades. The Soviets were not responsible for the Katyn Forest Massacre.
There’s an easy way to settle this debate.
Just ask Trump to release the evidence that supports his decision to bomb Syria.
While were at it, I would also like to hear a logical explanation as to why Assad has repeatedly risked using chemical weapons even though such weapons have had absolutely no strategic impact on the war.
Looks like he is in Syria as a reporter for Oan.... what he’s reporting is just people who have left the areas targeted. He’s not there himself.
As we know the Syrians and others there will say anything.....weeding out what’s true or not is another story.
I don’t expect this to be heard in the Western media.
Nor do I expect an embarrassed apology from Trump for being fooled by ‘The Deep State’. Unless he wants to use this incident to hammer ‘The Deep State’ out of the swamp.
