Fox News host Sean Hannity is linked to a group of shell companies that have spent $90 million buying hundreds of homes across the U.S through the help of foreclosures and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Guardian reported Sunday.
More than 870 homes in seven different states have been purchased over the past decade, ranging from large mansions to rentals for low-income families, according to the newspaper.
For some of the mortgages, Hannity reportedly obtained funding from HUD under the National Housing Act loan program, which was first guaranteed under President Obamas administration.
Secretary Ben Carsons department recently increased Hannitys original $17.9 million mortgage for purchases in Georgia by an additional $5 million, records obtained by the Guardian show.
Hannity did not disclose his cooperation with HUD when he had Carson on his show last June, the Guardian noted.

This is a hit piece because Hannity is pointing out how fake news agents like F Chuck Todd are tied to Demon Rat politicians.
So, what is S0r0$ up to wrt media manipulation this week?
Where is the reportage on that?
Ping me if he did something illegal. Otherwise.....
Sean looks like he got involved in some complicated investments. I wonder if he knew exactly how these investments worked? Doesn’t help his credibility in some areas. Whatever the situation he will be pressed to explain.
So the eff what? He’s not allowed to invest his money?
He also got closer than anyone to finding out who killed Seth Rich.
He’s a capable investor?
Like Elizabeth Warren did?
I have nothing special against Hannity, but this sort of thing is the heart of the problem.
People in the media and hand-in-glove with people in the government. They can all help each other become richer and more powerful. It’s very incestuous. I believe the term for using government to enrich yourself is “rent seeking”. But it’s also crony capitalism or fascism.
It help those who are involved, but society as a whole suffers because of it.
This stuff should be private. Did they steal all this info from Cohen?
And this is news?
So he is one of how many thousands of people investing in foreclosed properties, what am I missing here?
so was there any illegal activity? No, this is just a hit piece to try and take Hannity down. The left tried their woman was groped etc and that never worked, so they are trying all sorts in desperation in order to silence Hannity because he is informing the public on the corruption done by obama, Jarrett, Clinton, FBI etc
These aren’t complicated. I know a few people who deal in HUD housing.
See? They are trying to make it seem like Hannity's business deals that involve government regulations are the same as F Chuck Todd's wife being a Demon Rat consultant. Apples and oranges.
