OK. So when does the Dinar get re-valued?
Interesting article. Thanks for posting.
This is what our boys died for. Ungrateful little pricks. We should have govt oil refineries as payment for the blood of US soldiers who gave their lives for that shithole.
Our heroes died fighting for a future peaceful Iraq. Sounds like with President Trump in charge, things are looking up all over (except DC).
Why don’t you read the article? Sounds like Baghdad is popping off! Maybe they’re becoming Westernized and without all the Islamic crap.
Looks like Los Angeles.
Enjoyed the article. Strange to read good news from there.

That’s awesome. I was there. I was there for the invasion in 2003 and I was in the battle of Fallujah in 2004. I had no hope that place could thrive. Awesome to see it’s headed in the right direction.

I suspect our men are thrilled to hear of something like normalcy in Baghdad.
Essentially, that’s what they fought for.
I'll chalk that up to the amazing dealmaking of GWB and his band of merry geniuses.
I remember Rumsfeld and Cheney arguing to Dubya why they allowed the oil contracts given to France, germany et al who didnt lift a finger to help us out during the invasion AND occupation.
Pretty impressive!
The US didnt deserve those oil contracts, France and Germany did?
Let me guess. You bought a pile of them.
I for one am glad to hear this.
Good to see some positive news from there.
I’m glad too. Maybe they’re becoming a peaceful country — the entire middle east becoming more peaceful could be a very good thing for everyone. Yes, we spend a lot now, but to think that perhaps we may not need to in the future — is all good.
My husband, who spent a year avoiding constant rocket grenade attacks in the green zone, is happy to see this.
