The State Bar of California is investigating porn star Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti, Fox News has confirmed, after a complaint was filed regarding allegedly unpaid taxes.

According to the state bar's website, an investigation is launched based on a complaint only if the state bar attorney "sees evidence of a serious violation."

This is all just further proof that as a nation we are now collectively living on the Jerry Springer show.
Sounds a lot like Deep State went shopping for someone they knew AHEAD OF TIME was in absolutely no position to say no.
Sounds zactly what a scumbag would do.
Is Avenatti a scum..?
Sure, but that’s not the bigger point, here.
The entity USING him planned on running the Avenatti engine as hot and fast as they wished, that his wheels WOULD come flying off and that Avenatti was absolutely going to end up a smoking hole at the end of this.
And they didn’t care.
And they didn’t care cuz they don’t care about ANYONE but themselves.
It’s good Avenatti is destroyed, sure, but how many others are they going to do this to..?
You have to start thinking about it.
Now as stated here several times, how bout doing the same for Mueller, Comey and their band of thugs?
Thanks - I added that to my Captain Obvious collection
Let’s see how fast this scum buckets money influx gets traced back to Diane Finesteins ex aide(who sat in on the gang of 8/Breñnen briefings on Muh Russia) that all of a sudden has like 50 Mill to go after Trump with.
How many stories is a $10 whore really worth? Please stop.
Should also be investigated by the Washington Bar Association, but since he is part of the cabal going after Trump, he would get a pass.
For a guy with an obviously tiny one, he sure steps on it a lot.
Rake. I meant rake.
CA Bar is anti-Trump leftist. Justice? Really?
Here in FL, bar complaint materials are subject to open records requests. Don’t know about CA, but I assume it is the same. So, at some point, and not so distant considering this was filed in March, we should be able to see the nuts and bolts of the complaint. What goes around, comes around, brother Avenatti!
For those of us who cheer at this story I wouldn’t get your hopes up. The only way he gets reprimanded is if it receives ongoing attention in the press. In the early ‘90’s I had a complaint against an attorney that misrepresented me according to multiple other attorneys that reviewed my case so I went to the State of California Bar Association in Sacramento to file a complaint only to learn that it was not active due to lack of dues paying members, it was self funded. Did I hate lawyers? Yep!
One of our clients filed a complaint three years ago. Actually, there have been many complaints filed by our clients. Only this one was not rejected outright. It’s been three years and she’s heard nothing. Don’t hold your breath.
