Trump cancels Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un

President Donald Trump wrote a letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un saying that their planned summit next month in Singapore was cancelled.
The meeting, which would have marked the first face-to-face encounter between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader, was set for June 12 in the southeastern Asian island city state.
"Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting," Trump wrote in the letter, which was released Thursday morning.

Not surprised. I think it would be better to have the summer at some place closer to North Korea. I’d suggest maybe Japan, at Shimonoseki.

I seem to recall trump saying that the threat posed by North Korea will be removed one way or the other.
Looks like Kim is headed towards “the other”.
