Irish babies deserve better than being murdered by their mothers.

All babies deserve better than being murdered by their mothers.

If rending unborn babies limb-from-limb because they’re inconvenient is not wrong, nothing is wrong.

How people voted:

Women:
The poll also finds that women voted in favour of the proposal by a massive margin, with 70 per cent voting in favour and 30 per cent voting against. Support amongst men was weaker, though still convincing, at 65 per cent to 35 per cent.

18-24:
The poll finds that 87 per cent of those aged between 18-24 voted for repeal.

65+:
Younger voters were overwhelmingly in favour of the change, with whopping majorities in all age groups under 65. Those over 65 voted against the proposed change, the poll finds.

About the same margin they favored gay marriage by.

Desperately trying to prove to the rest of Europe how hip and progressive they are, as if their country wasn't an insignificant backwater that produces nothing and has no influence.

Why is it so hard to use preventative birth control? abortion as a birth control method is disgusting and unbelievably cruel.

When the mgreat majority of a population either want something, or are tolerant of it, you cannot legislate it out of existence. Defining Deviancy Downward is the principle at work, in this case. Religion no longer guides Ireland. The only places now where you can find rejecting religious views a mortal issue is in the countries run by Mohammedans.

Surprised it is not higher, like 80-20 or 90-10. Seriously.

Reminds me of same sex marriage referendum in Australia - where the only areas that voted no were Muslim majority areas

One more indication that God isn’t going to hold off much longer. Unless something turns around big time.

Does Ireland have a supreme court that can reverse the vote?
