Why is it that liberals can’t seem to put the blame for any criminal action on the person who commits the crime? Would that destroy their agenda and whole basis for being a liberal? Yes.

Owning a car doesn’t make one responsible for drunk drivers. But then, it’s not really about guns; it’s about crushing your political opposition.

Great ideas.

Let's only have guns that don't work properly.

Police should arm themselves with them.

Then everything will be okay.

And the unicorns will continue to fly in lib town.

Chicago could totally eliminate all retail theft and shoplifting if they would simply order all businesses to close.

What, for example, was the gun-maker doing to develop biometric trigger locks, such as a thumbprint, for guns?

If gun makers need to make "smart" guns in order for police departments to purchase their brand, make the cops use these same "smart" guns they're want to force on us.

Substitute “cars” for guns...

Maybe you can do a meme for:

Participating in a gun buyback program to reduce gun violence is like having a vasectomy because your neighbor has too many children.

A mother changing her 2 yr olds diaper shot the 2 yr old last night in Memphis. No mention if it was a legal or illegal gun, given the neighborhood, Illegal.

At least 1 killing a day/night now. DEM controlled city, to broke for hiring BLACK LEO as that is all they want. Wants to build an Aquarium to bring in tourist. When there is a Huge 1 at the BIG BASS PRO shop they could promote.

Funny thing is alcohol limits are being lowered to the point that you could be arrested for drunk driving even though in reality you ARE sober.

“.......there were two guys...either NYPD or Secret Service (not sure which)...with semi-automatics that looked real enough. “......

Go to Israel and you will see that 100 times over. Teachers, postal workers, beach guards, etc. They are everywhere.

Oh my, more of the same people of whom according to their logic, places like Switzerland, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and Canada and the United Kingdom in the 1950s and 1960s ought to be or were among the most violent places in the world.

You can learn from your enemies, because the leftists never stop:

"The resolution was drafted by a group of religious leaders — the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility — and a grassroots advocacy group — the Metro Industrial Areas Foundation — that had tried for years to get Sturm Ruger to discuss such safety measures. Getting nowhere, the two groups bought stock in the gun company. Then, as shareholders, they convinced bigger shareholders, such as the investment firms of BlackRock and Vanguard, to join them in demanding the report on gun safety."

So now leftist, anti gun activists are using front organizations to infiltrate stockholder meetings at firearms manufacturers. Freedom loving patriots need to do the same thing. Time to get organized for the next shareholder meeting, and be ready to support corporate resolutions against gun grabbing leftist tactics.

That's a project Freepers could take on.

Is this a letter to the editor or a position taken by the Sun Times editorial board ? Should not have to link source to find out particularly links that support the She=He=It movement.

Leftists at work. Here is the bunch that went after Sturm Ruger:

Link to the leftist clerics responsible

Colleen Scanlon of Catholic Health Initiatives who filed a resolution at gun manufacturer Sturm Ruger said, “As a large national health system, we see the devastating impact of gun violence in our hospitals on a daily basis. Comprehensive efforts to focus on gun safety should be a top priority for this nation. We believe manufacturers of guns must be part of the solution and for that reason we will continue to seek a productive dialogue with Sturm Ruger"

Metro Industrial Area Foundation

"The Industrial Areas Foundation was established in 1940 by Saul David Alinsky and a Board of Directors that included business man Marshal Field, Roman Catholic Bishop Sheil and Kathryn Lewis, daughter of John L Lewis, President of the United Mine Workers. The mission of the new endeavor was to build from Alinsky’s experience developing the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council into other communities in the greater Chicago area and beyond. "
