My SOURCE, idiot, was:

"BRIEF OF AMICI CURIAE MUSLIM ADVOCATES, THE RUTHERFORD INSTITUTE, AND THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN IN SUPPORT OF PETITIONER"

In addition, from the court decision:

"Later, the district court entered summary judgment against Hoever’s complaint that his retention of a Bible in Spanish but the denial of a Bible in English and devotional materials during his confinement violated his rights under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment. We affirm."

“My SOURCE, idiot, was:
“BRIEF OF AMICI CURIAE MUSLIM ADVOCATES, “

That is what I pointed out to you and you call me an idiot?

“NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN”

Hmmm. Progressive pro-muslim!

“Please try to learn to read before making a fool of yourself in public! “

What I read that you posted was from the brief, not from the decision you are now referencing ...

“”BRIEF OF AMICI CURIAE MUSLIM ADVOCATES, THE RUTHERFORD INSTITUTE, AND THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN IN SUPPORT OF PETITIONER”

Interesting that the RI is teaming up with progressive, pro-muslim anti-Christian groups instead of conservative US based Christian groups!

“If Muslim, he would be allowed a Koran.”

Maybe that is why the brief sourced by the article was filed by progressive, pro-muslim groups?

I deplore his acts. That is a separate issue.

If he repents, then he can be a Christian - which in no way diminishes the justness of his sentence.

Regardless, I dispute that he can lawfully be denied a Bible.

Nice dodge.

It's not a dodge. I try to live by the Word, not very well sometimes.

But I do my best to leave the judging the the One who counts. My Bible recommends it.

“But I do my best to leave the judging the the One who counts. My Bible recommends it. “

My point was to be ....

If he were a Christian, then a few days without his bible would not be a problem.

If he were not a Christian by now after reading his bible everyday for years (like I really believe that) then a few more days would not make a difference.

The dude was a full time litigator. The bible was just a small part of his petition. He miss one meal but made it sound like they were depriving him of necessary nutrition!

"Regardless, I dispute that he can lawfully be denied a Bible."

He was! And now we find that US Christian based organizations are coming to his defense?

NOPE!

What we have here are progressing, pro-Muslim, anti-Christian organizations coming together to file a brief on his behalf!

The WND report references "That’s the concern of the Rutherford Institute, which worked with other faith groups"

Who are the other faith based groups? MUSLIM ADVOCATES! NATIONAL COUNCIL ON JEWISH WOMEN!

“That is what I pointed out to you and you call me an idiot?”

Which do you prefer - idiot or liar?

Because what I posted was - as you HAD to know - “BRIEF OF AMICI CURIAE MUSLIM ADVOCATES, THE RUTHERFORD INSTITUTE, AND THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN IN SUPPORT OF PETITIONER”

To pick one and assume bias for muslims when it also included the Rutherford Institute and the National Council of Jewish Women is DISHONEST. Or just stupid. I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

I gave you a photo on the main page of the NCJW! And she sure is not a Christian!

As for the NCJW they have the code word “progressive’ in their mission statement, support abortion on demand and LGBTQ rights.

No, we have the Rutherford Institute along with others arguing prisoners retain religious freedom UNLESS there is a good reason why they cannot have it.

So...why do YOU think the prisoner should be allowed a SPANISH Bible he cannot read, but denied and ENGLISH Bible he can? Other than pushing a Big Government, Anti-Christian viewpoint, what IS your goal?

Taken out of context. You are good at that.

“along with others “

others .... progressive pro-muslim anti-Christian others ...

Why not any US based conservative Christian groups?

I agree that the Free Exercise Clause does not distinguish between “mandatory” and other religious practices. Nor should government which includes prisons. I disagree that Hoever’s practice of Christianity was substantially burdened by not having an English Bible while in custody. So the court made the right ruling but used wrong reasoning. The court should not have cited whether a practice was mandatory in deciding if a restriction was burdensome.

Given that you are siding with the anti-Christian groups, NCJW and Muslim Advocates, I would say,

... judge not or be judged ...
