Sickening-----all these women knew Bill was a womanizer. They chose to defend him b/c he was good for "women's issues."
Same with sexual deviant NYAG Eric Schneiderman. women he spat at, choked, and slapped in the bedroom were told to back off b/c he was pushing women's issues. Amazingly the women actually "obeyed." Then #MeToo happened.....a sea change...he was ousted from office. The women he abused came forward.

Poor Monica, every time she sees a man with a cigar the tainted memories of her abuse come back to her. In her defense though, she was but 20 years old when the then 47 year old man who also happened to hold the most powerful office in the land grabbed her buttocks, and then grabbed a lot more afterword.

At that time they pointed to her age (21) when the news broke and declared that Monica was a ‘woman’ who knew what she was doing, that it was ‘consensual sex’ and that therefor dismissed the crime of sexual harassment in the work place because she was an ‘adult’. That over-used description of Bill Clinton drives me crazy. Those are not leadership qualities and in his case, not even accurate; it was/is all a phony act. After Christopher Hitchens went to Ken Starr to relate his conversation with his friend Sidney Blumenthal re destroying Monica as a stalker, Dowd wrote a Times piece calling him “Hitch the Snitch.” What followed was an avalanche of bad publicity for the concerned Brit in which even his ex-wife was called forth to bash him. An ugly episode in America which Dowd conveniently hides because she was in the middle of it.
