Heheheheh.......he looks so proud to be “in uniform.”
Amen.
I wonder what happened to Joe Conason, the dark, lugubrious creature who appeared on tv so many times during that period, I suggested that he have a Christmas special.
During the 2016 election, Conason and Gene Lyon’s created a free e-book called “The Hunting of Hillary,” which was primarily based on their previous book, “The Hunting of the President.” The e-book reviews 20-plus years of alleged Clinton scandals including Whitewater with a particular focus on Hillary Clinton.
In Sept 2016, Simon & Schuster published “Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton,” Conason’s account of his post-presidency. Conason interviewed Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton; many of Clinton’s friends, aides, rivals and supporters offer a comprehensive analysis of Clinton’s post-presidency.

There would be no reason to read this tedious so-called essay other than to find out just how she tries to put all of Clinton’s disgusting behavior on to Trump.
She tries twice. While doing so, she goes so off track that the reader is reading two articles. Two completely different themes.
One is Clinton’s image among libs is different now than it was.
The other is ‘the public and i, we hate Trump. We’re not sure why, it’s just a feeling, but I’ll throw some useless barbs at him in my column. My readers will appreciate that. They can’t worship Clinton any longer tgerefore a little consolation is needed. And they hate Trump worse than they ever remember adoring Clinton. Win win.’
She puts Trump in here twice. Its not about Clinton. The Clinton stuff is thirty years old. Our opinion of him, his disgusting behavior is old. Mo is excavating it in an attempt to use it to smear Trump.
She appears tired, old, silly, non-sensical. And not in a good way.
She writes, “The definition of is doesnt depend on anything. It just is.”
Eh, it always WAS. And, no, they will never say, ‘common sense people were right, Clinton was a horrible person’.
Here’s how she summarizes:
“And Bill Clinton has learned that his threadbare routine of maudlin self-pity and casting blame on everyone but himself doesnt work anymore. And that is a relief.”
I doubt this. He hasn’t, nor does he feel the need to learn this any more that Maureen Dowd has a need to figure out that comparing Trump unfavorably to Clinton is cheap, boring, silly, predictable and ineffective. And not in a good way.
The NY Slimes has a hard time explaining away Bill Clinton with the MeToo movement hot on thier heels.
