I would love to hear some of those liberal parents of the girls who lost explain how this was a good thing. “Yes dear, you lost out on a scholarship, but what a victory for human rights!”
I am not for the destruction of female sports but maybe this will start the dismantlement of Title IX.
The Feminists and SJWs are now being hoist on their own petard.
Modern day liberalism is all about denying reality - denying the reality that males are physically superior to females, denying the reality that mentally confused boys are not girls just because they wish they were. But reality can’t be legislated away by liberals - boys who enter girls’ athletic events will dominate the girls, even when the boys want to pretend they’re girls.
Wait till boys realize they can get full athletic scholarships to major universities by joining the girls teams in everything simply by “identifying” as a girl. Baseball, basketball, track, tennis, swimming.
Cancel those programs, you lose the generated income.
Maybe then colleges and universities would reduce their footprint and go back to teaching real subjects and only to people who actually have the mental wherewithal to go to college.
Of course it would mean most professors would not only have to take a bit of a pay cut but also teach their own classes.
Track scholarships usually aren't very much and pale in comparison to academic scholarships.
So what you are saying is that women will lose all the sports scholarships.
Ouch.
The ramifications seem to be broader than I had first thought.
Just think about this: Colleges and universities were created right after we became a nation. They didn't have sports teams and later on just intramural sports done for the fun of it. Sometime later they started to play other colleges and not only did everybody want to cheer on their school but the alumni started to notice and alumni donations started flowing in to the coffers at a much greater rate.
If college sports dies I believe a massive chunk of alumni donations will disappear thus forcing a complete rethinking of the entire operations within the colleges. Things will have to be pared back and I do guarantee you the trash degrees being handed out now will be the first to go. There are universities who are now cutting back on those types of degrees because student populations and some donations are getting smaller.

Can’t read all the posts, but won’t the bio-boys lose out on scholarships because colleges are fairer and require 2 years of hormone treatment before they can compete against girls?
This is a farce - ‘transgenders’ are boys who like to act like girls.
Reinforcing this type of insanity is simply ... insane.
Women bepught this on themselves.
Demanded men be sensitive to homos and trannys. Tolerating and accepting.
Now the women have to be tolerating and accepting.
They always said they can do anything men can do, even better.
Or maybe they can admit they were wrong tolerating and accepting perversion, and instead of catering to it and enabling it, maybe we prohibit it again. Get rid of the books, and clubs, and sessions and holidays promoting the sex perversion infesting schools.
And the the mentally messed up kids into real therapy, and maybe if they find hormone levels out of whack, medically correct them.
The second place boy finisher must be really pissed, (er, umm,) mad about this injustice.
The dress is optional. A trans-gender girl is just simply a guy who is confused, mentally ill, or looking for attention.
This is just one more cancer that has been put in place and eventually will become terminal. We are witnessing the social rot a forced infliction by extortion and or personal ruination brought upon us by the left agenda

The private club teams will still need to use fields that are mostly publicly owned (parks, rec centers, school fields, etc.). That will be the point of attack.
