Donald Trump Jr. went on FOX and Friends on Thursday to discuss his father’s very successful meeting with Kim Jong Un in Singapore and the continued Mueller witch hunt against the president. During the conversation Don Jr. was asked if he thinks his father should sit down with Dirty Cop Mueller.
Donald Trump Jr.: Look, I don’t trust these people as far as I could throw them. I wouldn’t sit down with them because you could sit there and ask questions for 50 hours or 100 hours and ask the same thing 1000 times and they would be, “Oh, the comma’s different here. Now we got you!” The reality is the greatest investigative bodies in the world have been looking at this for two year. Two years! And they have come up with nothing. By the way the only thing they’ve come up with is what they themselves were doing!

I agree with Don Jr. but Rudy Giuliani has been pushing Trump for a sit down with Mueller. If Trump refused it's possible that Mueller could get a grand jury to subpoena Trump before them.
I love the politics of this, but in the end rest assured...

I’m glad Don Jr. is telling him that because that’s what I think too. I feel like they aren’t interviewing him because they think he did anything wrong. It’s a trap to catch him in a false statement.
I think Don Jr’s wife didn’t realize how committed a conservative her husband is. She didn’t want any part of trying to save the country and getting hit with all the shaming Alinsky could fantasize about.
And I think the people closest to Trump don’t agree on the best strategy to keep him politically alive and doing good works in this globalist mercenary oligarchy swamp. I can’t say as I blame them. It is easier to turn people in DC for money or sex than feeling gazelle burgers to lions.
Subpoena has no basis, and Trump has no urgent evidence that needs to be revealed. This is a perjury trap, and the standards are low, ask Martha Stewart and Scooter Libby.
I would reject the subpoena and claim that Mueller’s case is weak and this is a political abuse. They haven’t even named a crime.
It’s sickening that they can do this for political reasons. There is no trust in government.

I don’t think Rudy or Jay Sekalow have any intention of letting Trump sit down with Mueller. They are just stringing him along.
Trump agreeing to the meeting would be as foolish as the girl in the horror movie going down into the darkened basement alone.
If you don’t have to sit down with them, DO NOT! They are masters at legal treachery. DO NOT sit down with them. And Rudy, go sit in the corner and be quiet.
No crime is known to have been committed.
If the FBI is following up on a bank robbery, they can come attempt to interview you. You may use your 5th amendment rights.
If the FBI walked up and said “we are investigating to see if we can find anything you may have done wrong, even though we are not aware of any crime that has been committed”. You can laugh at them and flip the finger. You don’t even have to take the 5th.
There is ZERO duty to talk to investigators who can’t even point to a specific crime.

There is not even a crime known to have occured. It is utterly un-American to investigate a person, searching for a crime that fits.
Trump has zero requirement to even speak to him until he can point to a crime. Imagine a cop walking up and deciding to interview you out of the clear blue sky with zero evidence and no crime known to have happened. You can flip him the finger and walk away. You don’t even have to assert your rights... you can simply ignore him.
