Conflict, climate change choke efforts to cure poverty, inequality: U.N.

UNITED NATIONS - Climate change and conflict are forcing growing numbers of people to go hungry, flee their homes and lose critical access to water, the United Nations said on Wednesday in a look at progress in its global development goals.

The number of hungry people has risen for the first time in a decade, and violence and conflict are causing food problems in 18 nations, the U.N. said in its assessment.

Member nations of the U.N. adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 in a concerted effort to conquer poverty, inequality and other international woes by a 2030 deadline.

Progress has been hampered by climate change-related extreme weather and by violence and war, said Francesca Perucci, assistant director of the Statistics Division at the U.N. Department of Economic and Social Affairs.

“Countries face mounting challenges - a fast-changing climate, increased numbers of conflicts and inequality and persistent pockets of poverty and hunger,” she said at a U.N. news conference.

“For the first time in a decade, the number of people who are undernourished has increased from 777 million in 2015 to 815 million in 2016, mainly due to conflict, drought and disasters linked to climate change,” she said.

Yes...tell a big lie often enough and the people ( the morons amongst us ) will believe it and repeat it!

We need to get out of the UN and make them leave the USA!

There is a mid-term election coming in Nov. The globalist oligarchy must institute anything they can get their democrat and media whores to float in order to divide the people and create chaos and tensions.

Those oligarchs are not that hard to identify and with the disappearance of perhaps a thousand of them most of the world's problems would resolve in less than a decade. BUT satan's minions, with their wealth beyond avarice and their lust for power over everyone, are protected by the evil one, so the only answer is the return of the Lord.

The lies will only get more intricate and diverse, along with a rising interest rate and inflation, so cinch those saddles on tight, it is going to be a bumpy summer and race riots may well be in the planning ...

I have a feeling that before it gets any better, it will only get progressively worse and not because of humans. For this reason I would encourage anyone who believes that humans are in some form or another responsible for “Global warming” or “Climate Change” to take the time and make and effort to read “Velikovsky & 3600 signature” as well as “The real cause of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions” It appears that we are coming up on these two events which coincidental appear to run concurrent at least for a certain length of time, and easily could account for climate change one way or another. If anything, should the Grand Solar Minimum be the dominant event, at least for time being, the greater concern should be global cooling.

No doubt that humans contribute some to global warming but these amounts are insignificant to cause any climate change as they pale in comparison what frequent volcanic eruptions put in to the atmosphere. Whatever the trigger may be for Velikovsky’s 3600 year signature event, which appears to be a repetitive event, its effects were not lost at the time at the then Pharaoh of ancient Egypt, eventually precipitating the release of the Israelis from bondage, an event which found its way into the annals of history and being recorded as the “Exodus”

It just so happens that once again we seem to be coming up on the anniversary of this 3600 year event and along with it by coincident on another Grand Solar Minimum which brings along with it earthquakes as well as volcanic eruptions which appear to be more than plentiful, backed up by statistics. This along with ever more crazy weather patterns, from way too hot in one area or unseasonably cold in another. This along with flooding in some areas and draughts in others, as well as one season running into another.

If this was not enough chances appear better than good that once again after a long time most likely we are heading into another “Grand Solar Minimum” For these two events to run concurrent appears to be coincidental, never the less acting together their impact could produce a double whammy with very undesirable and destructive results.

Time and space does not permit to go into too many details, but for anyone interested, plenty of information may be found on the internet. Needless to say more than enough misinformation may also be found as some people are pretty gullible when it comes to doomsday scenarios and a person needs to use common sense to separate facts from fiction.

No doubt that what you just have read may cause some people to shake their heads and smile. I for one hope that mankind may get lucky again, and some of the predictions will not materialize as if they would come true it quickly would wipe the smile off peoples faces. I for one hope to be dead wrong and none of the predictions will come to pass. But only time will tell.

Surrounded by water in lakes and oceans full of aquatic wildlife, water from wells and cisterns. Forests and plains wildlife (snakes, lizards, birds, rabbits, raccoons, possums, and other forest game, etc.). Natural plant species(cactus, bananas, grains, etc.) all over the place, Add to these some domestic species chickens, hogs, cattle, goats. etc.) and these issues are resolved. All countries have some resources which if developed would allow them to survive.

Poverty isn’t the issue, it’s the dumb a$$es that run the UN and the lack of the people’s initiative (will to survive) that is the problem.

In America, the native Indians and Confederate and Western States survived on a lot less. It can be done. The UN is a waste of time and resources. All the UN wants is to control the money and resources to their advantage.
