Divorcing Trump: Why some conservatives are now pushing Democrats (!)
Fox News ^ | 6 June 2018 | Howard Kurtz

Posted on 07/06/2018 4:40:50 AM PDT by Magnatron

The conservative commentators who absolutely despise President Trump are in a box.

During the campaign, many loudly proclaimed that they could never vote for Trump. But they said they didn't want Hillary Clinton to win either. So some opted for fringe candidates or third-party candidates or write-in candidates or told people to make up their own minds.

This was something of a charade. Either Trump or Clinton was going to be the next president. So by refusing to back Trump, they were increasing the chances that Hillary would win.

Now, with the midterms approaching, some of those on the right are taking the step that they refused to take in 2016: They are openly rooting for the Democrats.

This is how topsy-turvy our politics have become.

[“Conservatives?” Yeah, right...]

Pseudo conservative politicians are in every county and every community. They’ve ruined our nation. Vote them out of office.

They were never conservatives, they only pretended to be in the media for purely personal financial gain.

Stop funding them.

All those noted were........ none are.

They all lost all their credentials and worse their credibility that like a whore’s reputation can never be recovered.

To even write the piece, Kurtz had to know he was dreaming of a ressurection that will never happen. No one will roll away the stone for George Will of Bill Krystol

Exactly.

“But they said they didn’t want Hillary Clinton to win either.” They may have said it, but they didn’t mean it. They wanted her to win so they could go on playing “the conservative opposition” on TV, radio and in their little magazines.

It's really a simple matter.

Republican and Democrat party affiliations mean nothing. It hasn't meant anything in years.

There are three political movements trying to operate within a two-party system:

1. Globalists
2. Nationalists
3. Marxists

These globalist pr!cks were predominantly Republicans as long as the GOP was willing to push their agenda. They were perfectly comfortable with Democrats in office as long is it was some unprincipled misfit like Bill Clinton who would sell himself out for a nickel. The same goes for Hillary Clinton.

Now, they see the writing on the wall. The Nationalist movement is slowly getting stronger within the GOP ... so these Globalists are going to call themselves Democrats now.

These are the failed media's “House Conservatives”. The token psuedo Conservative they put on their programs in attempt to fake they were “objective” and “balanced”.

They mean fake conservatives. Perhaps they can name one of the 16 who could have done more than Trump has done to shrink gummit.

Kurtz is an idiot. He is also a liberal. Will, Boot, Scarborough, and Kristol are phony conservatives. Trump, by his actions, is more conservative than any of them.

What one might call "token" or "house conservatives"; fully owned by the MSM. Prime example, Wapo's pet "conservative" Jennifer Rubin.

“They were never conservatives, they only pretended to be in the media for purely personal financial gain.”

They have no influence now, either inside DC or with the majority of people who used to listen to them. Hence they are selling themselves at a discount to the left... just like Arlen Specter did... who then died (politically and literally). Also there is something more personal involved with these guys, their emotions took over an ability to step back and understand what is really going on. There is no upside for them now.

If I had any of their books, I would mail to them personally asking for a refund.
