They are very much still here.

Trump to them is only as good as the last thing he does to the ones that are benefiting from how far he has stuck his neck out for us. Some of them, I suppose, are still salty over Cruz and over the fact that Trump has seriously wreck their credibility and conservative “instincts”.

Those of us that supported Trump since the start had to battle people on our own side the whole way to November, putting up with slams, slurs, and accusations. I personally have little patience for them even if many did come around and admit they were wrong.

“But the national reciprocation is what I’m talking about. This was a campaign promise that hasn’t been fulfilled.

It would be simple to do - An EO can reaffirm a constitutionally protected right. It wouldn’t even be contended (by anyone serious.”

You don’t understand what an EO does.

EOs only apply to federal government workers and they do not negate state or federal laws.

Do you have a different argument?

Trump did sign an EO to ban bump fire stocks, a wholly unenforceable political gesture, but it destroyed an entire towns livelihood, all for politics.

The Clinton’s / Kerry’s / Heinz’ / Schumers / et al are his friends. They party together.

That was one thing that did not worry me.

Trump went to parties but he was not a partier.

He went because that is part of doing business. Of that I was sure.

But the rest, yeah, that worried me.

I had been stabbed in the back so often by guys who knew just the right thing to say.

I pinned my faith on his reputation, not the social but the business reputation. I hoped because I knew people who knew him who told me stories about him that were not in the media. Acts of niceness where the person involved had no chance of repaying him in any way.

And prayed.

Still am praying but also giving thanks.

That is so right on, it’s scary.

The left doesn’t quit, even after massive defeats.

The right is always looking to “call in sick”, take vacations, or just never show up unless everything is handed to them immediately. And when we do win, we act like it was no big deal.

It’s like I said a while back. The left will go in every day to the bakery and get slices of bread until they get the whole loaf. The right walks in with 25 cents in its pocket, demands the bakery, all of the back profits, the recipes, and the baker’s house, and if they dont get it right then, they will run out into the road, shout “it’s all useless! The world doesn’t deserve me!!!”, and then light themselves on fire.

Right. Vision of an Ariel spirit ubiquitously hovering over our President is not the President. That's a distinction useful for anyone of class, like yourself. All in all he himself remains pedestrian. But there's nothing like the consciousness of power, imagined or real.

Bon chance!

I think we both agree, that Trump IS faithful to the American people and his Oath of Office.

Approved by Obamas ATF as you would have to ban semiautos and the human body and rewrite 85 years of law...

I’m still angry at the RNC for not supporting Trump when he was OUR pick. The Christians I knew were against him because they figured he wasn’t Christian. All of which really made me mad because President Trump was running for office on his own dime, his family was lovely, he actually said the things that needed to be said and he wasn’t a politician. He certainly didn’t need all this dangerous bother for him and his family. I just thank God he won despite the viciousness of our own party.

And Celerity is correct, without National reciprocity my 2nd amendment rights ARE diminished.

In my area we still have to deal with Cruzlims who can’t wait till they have something to criticize Trump for. They all are quick to let him have it on things like tariffs and the family separation.

Your post reads like a lot of BS to me but other than a gift from God explains the Trump phenomena as well as anything else.

Classy dude. Didn’t like Trump at the beginning, but came around. Unlike the STILL NeverTrumpers, he puts his country first.

This type of EO is perfect though - It does not establish a new rule, it’s a federal edict that enforces a constitutional rule.

The constitution is federal and the states do NOT have the right to negate any of the enumerated rights. The 10th amendment allows states some degree of decisions but nothing that can interfere with the original bill of rights or the constitution.

An EO would be effective not to establish a new rule, but to enforce those that are original constitutional law. The states CAN NOT declare laws that differ from the federal constitution when it comes to the 2nd amendment. All of the local and state laws in this regard are illegal and illegitimate.

“The NeverTrumpers were basically NeverRepublicans, and they were a fraud from day one of creation.”

More like NeverConservatives, but your point is certainly understood and valid.

Ocasio-Cortez, kind of an obscure 28-year-old who won an election with 20% turnout.....

Actually I believe turnout was 13%.....

I haven’t been this insulted all week.

But let me address your point of view. A point of view that I feel is poisonous.

The two parties have a job. And that job is singular when it’s reduced to it’s core.

A Democrat pushes to convert the country from a Republic towards a Democracy - where everyone has an equal vote.

A Republican fights to keep it as a Republic.

Democrats are designed to change our government. The Republicans fight to conserve this government.

I don’t mean to patronize you. You know all of this. But here is what it means:

The only and I mean ONLY job of a Conservative Republican is to say NO. The only job of the Democratic Progressive is to change that government even slightly. Any change is a win for Democrats. And every time any law fails to pass it’s a win for the Republicans.

A republican’s job is to say NO. That’s why we vote them in. If you like the way things are, vote Republican. If you want to change things vote Democrat.

So your idea that we as Conservatives need to accept changes incrementally may be in your heart, but it is not in the system. Our job is to say NO.

This whole “No” versus “Lets change something” is not an enemy thing. We aren’t enemies. It’s how the republic operates. We should all be sitting down at the end of the day sharing a beer and being friends.

Anytime a law passes, it’s a failure of the Conservative.

The things we find all support the theory.

It is remarkable, to go back 2015 -1016, and read what some posted, regarding Trump being a stalking horse for the wicked witch... some still like to inject their superior beings with hidden snarks, like slithering snakes. Why, I remember a 'religious' type claiming he/she would vote for the devil, before he/she would vote for candidate Trump.

Reagan had bad press, but nothing compared to the outright lies and distortions spewed out each and every day... Those 'neverTrumpers' have accomplished very little, but make a buck itching about liberals. They could have hit the cash cow had Hillry won. Personally, I would like to see them out on every street corner of the cities in which they reside, with nothing but a begging bag, to survive.
