Oh and plus my new Zealand passport became null and void from that moment on...I could not have used it to leave he country...for the next 30 days until the naturalization ceremony I was without a country but covered legally by my Alien Registration Card...AKA green card...

BTW that card is so important that the number on it is also annotated at the top right hand corner of my naturalization document...

“Alien Registration No. XXXXXX”

Note: At that ceremony I had to surrender my green card to the immigration authorities...

If I recall correctly, after previous censuses, the census bureau issued estimates of the numbers of people who were not counted.

Yes and the Democrats wanted to use those estimates instead of the actual count to determine representation, because, you know, estimates are always more accurate that actual counts, just like polls are more accurate the actual vote.

My parents did also, and as long as I can remember my dad would tell me whenever we talked about it that on the day he became an American Citizen, that's all he was not a Hungarian. Although he never stopped being proud of his heritage, it's just not who he was anymore.

I just don't see that with the majority of immigrants, legal or otherwise anymore, from what I see they want the benefits of being an American without actually being an American........if you know what I mean.

LOL.

Yep that’s a talking point, that in previous counts, the Democrats just knew that people were missed.

Reminds me, somebody told me recently, how the vote count in 2016 showed Hillary far ahead in the exit polls estimates. And she said, sounds like the GOP tampered with the vote count.

Democrats think exit polls are more accurate in an election than the actual vote.count.

They made a similar complaint in 2004 with John Kerry allegedly being so far ahead in the exit polls, that it was a shock to them when actual votes were counted.

At issue are billions of dollars in potential funding for states and the allocation of several congressional seats.

Yup, the REAL issue is money and power. If they win, the USA is dead.
