As far as I can tell, he seems to be doing just fine. I know you weren’t hot about him when he ran against Mitch, when I strongly backed him. I’m sure he’ll make an excellent Senator after his two terms in Frankfort (or perhaps 5 years, if Mitch retires in 2020 and Bevin runs to succeed him).
Yeah, the Dems wouldn’t dare try another coup d’état as they did with the corrupt AG Stumpy against Doc Fletcher. Not having the state leg anymore really took the wind out of their sails. I expect before long it’ll be like here in TN where the Dem caucus will be able to meet in a bathroom stall.
