Rep. Beto ORourke (D-TX), the challenger to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) this fall, voted no on a Congressional resolution to support the men and women of ICE. Only 18 Democrats voted for the measure.
According to Roll Call, the resolution rejects calls to completely abolish the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
With 34 Democrats voting against the measure, most refused to cast a yes or no votes. ORourke was among the nos.

His campaign has been robo-texting people for support. Not signed up, on the do-not-call registry etc. Almost as effective as voter shaming.
He never had a chance anyway....but keep on spending those DNC campaign $$$$$$, Jackass.
Oops! I posted the wrong source. It is NTK Network, not Newsbusters. Force of habit. Perhaps the source could be corrected?
Sealed his doom but stands for his ideals. I can (kinda) respect that.
Get body bag out... he’s toast. Nice job. Raises all that money, and it’s down the tubes with one vote.
Who else voted against it?
Beatoff wouldn’t get my vote if he held a gun to my dog’s head.
Bush League Republicans want the same thing.
What's a Beto O'Rourke?
And what do we know about it?
Fill us in, Texans...
She is toast.
I hope the left pours buckets of $$$ into her campaign.
Were glad to see you go
He came out in support of a proposed semi-auto ban. That dawg don’t hunt in Texas, at least outside of metro cores of Austin, Houston and Dallas. One must wonder if Beto has ever driven outside of those areas.
Coming to American Sanctuary cities like San Francisco, without borders, ICE and immigration control!
I was driving through Moab,Utah yesterday and I saw a vehicle with California license plates that had a Beto sticker on it. I guess he didnt want a Feinstein one.
An school friend of mine, who now lives in Australia, bought Beto T-Shirts for his entire family. He is originally from California and has never lived nor has family ties to Texas. I guess he has money to burn.
While I am typing, I do see a lot of Beto signs in and around Houston. I have only seen two Cruz signs (it rural areas). It is sad as these people can post the Beto signs without retribution but if I put a Cruz one in my yard, it would probably be stolen or some sort of damage would be done to my property. Sad.
8 replies and 15 minutes before a Beatoff reference? We gettin slow.
Trump playbook. Don't compromisec double down and hope that doing so will enthuse enough people who don't normally vote or are jaded with business-as-usual.
Robert O'Rourke is a lawyer, son of Judge who had a misspent youth. Changed his name to Beto to get the Mexican vote.
