HA! Beat me to it. I hadn’t read the comments when I posted mine.
GMTA
Excellent. Thank you. God bless you and your family. This was a wonderful change of pace from TDS and people who think the world is ending because of plastic straws.
Beautiful dogs and dog.
Love this post! What a perfect fur-legged family you have.
Her fur coloring is not too far off.
Thank you for posting such a beautiful story. A nice break in the vitriol in the world, you know.
My cats and my dogs have always been devoted to each other. Like when we brought our rottie pup home from being spayed, all three cats stayed with her while she was sleeping off her meds. Or when Hurricane Matthew swept through Florida, our Dobie and two cats stayed together on the couch, the Dobe and one cat flanking the oldest, most frail cat. All of them together, keeping each other bolstered as the wind battered the house.
I love animals.
I have often thought the same thing.
Good cat and dog stories help to remind that the whole world is not always insane and evil.
I was gone for two dsys and our little pride of four acted thrilled to see me this morning. One ran all the way from the pasture gate where he was hunting just to say hello. Nothing more.
I have to agree. Our little gang brighten most of my days.
Oh so adorable.
Our cats are lovebugs, and they’re all over us when we come home from work every day. They have food ad lib all the time, so it’s not that.
People who think that cats don’t express affection toward their humans just don’t have enough experience with them.
Wow. Adorable. Always felt dogs were the guardian angles God put on Earth.
A poet said “God made the cat that we might caress the tiger’’.
Dogs have owners, cats have staff.
That’s somewhat curious.
Huskies have a bit of a reputation for eating cats.
Yes. I’ve been consigned to ‘staff’ for most of my life.
I could do without the poke of the paw on my face, or the nose in my ear, every morning at 6 AM; but as Masters go, cats are pretty decent and quite entertaining ;-)
This is true. A pet cat provides great opportunities to observe and ponder wild nature in a domestic animal.
Tell me about it. The wife and I have seven of them.
