I read this over and over again! Could have knocked me over with a feather....or even a David Hogg!
It's far too early to celebrate.This was a decision of a panel of three of the Court's judges.It's my understanding that the losing side (the State of Hawaii) can request that the entire court review the case.
If that happens it's easy...*very* easy...to imagine that court,as it *so* often does,issue a thoroughly unconstitutional and anti-American ruling.

Nope. This decision is from thhe most conservative 3 judge panel. The entire 9th. CAn change the ruling. And most likely will.

Will the Ninth want to risk it going to the SC, and getting a ruling which expands Heller even further, and has it apply to the whole US?
Would the leftist judges want the blame for getting us to national Shall Issue, or Constitutional Carry?
The 9th has never shown any reluctance to be overturned. They probably have one of the worst records for reversals. When more conservatives are appointed to that court they may become more reluctant to be reversed. These democrat left wingers dont care.

Didn’t the9th circuit already rule in a California case that there was NO SUCH RIGHT, California made open carry completely illegal a few years ago, it used to be legal to Open Carry in California if unloaded, but you needed a good arm to throw it your attacker.
