Thoughtless? My hairy white ass. The conniving old witch knew exactly what she was doing.

They’ll need to hide her grave because any town it is in will suffer a flood of urine.

...described Henry Fonda as 'a cold, self-absorbed person, a complete narcissist.'

Well, he was an actor.

He never came across that way in his films. The only time he played a bad guy, that I can recall, was in Once Upon a Time in the West.

Yet many on this very forum lionize scumbags who do the same shit.

When my unit returned from the ‘90 to ‘91 war one of the men had a newsletter from a politician outlining his theory that our use of A9 armored bulldozers and tanks with plow attachments to clear Iraqi trenches was tantamount to war crimes. We should have what? Charged them on foot with bayonets and K-Bars?

I shortly saw this POS on one of the morning talk shows elaborating his position and commiserating with Iraqi troops who suddenly desired to surrender after all partway through the battle.

Ron Paul.

Same song, different decade.

Thoughtless then, thoughtless now. Does this woman have any idea that there are at least two generations of Americans who have absolutely no idea who she is. And don’t care?

Jane Fonda
November, 2012

“I did not, have not, and will not say that going to North Vietnam was a mistake,” she said. “I have apologized only for some of the things that I did there, but I am proud that I went.”

Rummyfan: "Well, he was an actor."

Agreed.
In "On Golden Pond" Henry played Jane's father and my guess is the chemistry there was pretty true to life.
But even I could put 2+2+2 together and imagine a scenario which both explains it and lets them all off the hook.
But it doesn't matter because the bottom line is Jane went nuts and took revenge on everything her Dad had once stood for.
If she were a child that's one thing, but an adult is her own moral agent.

Thoughtless is what she is now.
She was (and Is) a traitor then.
Posing with an antiaircraft gun that could has shot down American pilots. Turning in POWs to the North Vietnamese when the POWs were trying to get help. were trying to get help. she is pure evil and can only be forgiven (by Me)with true repentance. She is not there yet by a long way.

When she dies she will realize the error of her ways

She is trash! She cannot ever recover from what she did to the soldiers in North Vietnam or our fighting men in the south. She is just human sewage and will never be anything more.

Evidently there is another child that has nothing to do with Peter or Jane. Her name is Amy Fonda Fisher. She was adopted by Henry Fonda and his third wife, Susan Blanchard. When Henry Fonda died he left his estate to only his final wife Shirlee and daughter Amy. Nothing for Peter and Jane at all.

Interesting is that Susan Blanchard ended up marrying Richard Widmark after his first wife died.

Well I still enjoy watching Henry Fonda, regardless of what kind of man and father he was off screen, onscreen he was a great actor. Jane Fonda I enjoyed in the early part of her career before she went so Leftist, Pete I liked even in his off beat roles. But now Pete has just gone nuts.

Read it and weep, Jane...

Vietnam, ruled by communists for 40 years, is now the No. 1 fan of capitalism on the planet

https://qz.com/394732/vietnam-overrun-by-communists-40-years-ago-is-now-the-no-1-fan-of-capitalism-on-the-planet/

Hmm, maybe that’s why she thinks she was “thoughtless”, she never thought it would turn out this way if the Commies had won.
