The Real Deal: While idiot NFL players were busy kneeling and protesting America during Thursday night’s official preseason launch, the family of an Air Force hero was grieving his loss.

The Air Force released stunning video of Tech Sgt. John Chapman’s final stand in Afghanistan, where he died recently in the heat of battle.

Just watched it. Dang.

I have completely given up the NFL. Didn’t watch much anyway and the SJW’s have made me not want to watch at all. Won’t miss it.

As I recall, there was a bit of controversy about this battle. Nobody disputed this soldiers heroism, as I recall. But the blame game about him being left behind incited some finger pointing between the Airforce and the Seal Team. THAT is what disappointed me.

It’s war. These are hardcore professional warriors. There is honor among them all. There are no cowards in those ranks. If decisions and actions made in the fog of war on a dark, snowy mountain top is being judged from a recliner, years later in some lavish administrative office, the naysayer should be clobbered in the face with a brick. Say a prayer, be thankful, acknowledge the loss of heroic life, morn and move on.

I’m not sure I could bear to watch, but God bless him (and his family).

We could use more heroes like him, and less of the ‘heroes’ that people worship on the TV.

The video should be played on the jumbo-tron of every NFL game, during the anthem and let the whole damn world see what fools these NFL crybabies are, and see what a REAL MAN does for a change.......................

The SEALs left him behind. Then the Navy initially tried to block this AF MOH. There is also still debate on whether that Navy guy deserved the MOH. Regardless, the AF can be very proud of this patriot as they get their first MOH since Vietnam. As a retired Army Officer, I am very proud of his actions, the very finest a man can offer.

Many Christians tithe. If these social justice warriors offered to donate 1/10 of their yearly salaries to their cause, they might actually garner some support to their cause.

Never heard of a Forward Air Controller putting his life on the line like that. A generation ago they used to just dig in right back from the edge of battle. Tech Sgt. John Chapman became the forward edge of battle. It makes me wish that God’s real Heaven could have a little bit of Valhalla to honor him.

I have no problem watching ISIS terrorists running away from our aircraft and being blown to bits, but I can’t bring myself to stream this video.

Heart-felt sympathy to those this amazing American hero left behind, and most sincere thanks for his service and wishes that he reposes in eternal peace.

They gave it to the Navy guy in a deal where in return, they would not oppose the Air Force guy getting it. And the whole thing is childish. When the seals left they didn’t realize USAF man was still alive, so not their fault at all. But then they refused to honor him because they insisted on saying he was dead. Because otherwise would mean they left him behind. They didn’t know he was still alive so it really makes no difference.
The seals did nothing wrong on the battlefield, except for the leader who was later honored. The failing of the seals was back in the conference rooms .

He died in march of 2002. Why did it take so long to award him the medal of honor?

Why are they still awarding medals to servicemen from WWII? Politics, bureaucracy, racial bias, rank, you name it. We all bleed red, dammit! Honor where honor is due.
