A file containing personal information on millions of Texas voters was found on an unsecured online server, Techcrunch reported Thursday.
An estimated 14.8 million records were found on the server, representing files on the majority of Texass 15.2 million registered voters.
It is unknown who owns the server, but analysis suggests the data was likely aggregated by the GOP data analytics firm Data Trust, according to Techcrunch.

Remember a few years ago a fire of suspicious origin destroyed all the voting machines in Texas.
“Remember a few years ago a fire of suspicious origin destroyed all the voting machines in Texas.”
No.
Where in Texas do all 254 Texas counties keep their voting machines?
Hunt the #GOMO staff down and, if necessary, painfully (in a financial or other sense) extract the information from them about how this occurred.
They had a feature on the news the other night about how the voter fraud in Texas works. The non-citizens check the box that they are not US citizens and not eligible to vote when they get their driver’s license. In other words, the foreign nationals obey the law.
The state then sends the forms to the county offices who illegally register them to vote so votes can be cast in their names.
So the corruption is at the state and county office level, not the foreign nationals level. And these are safe ids to be used to cast the illegal ballots, since the foreigners won’t be showing up to vote - they knew they checked the right box on the form and shouldn’t even be registered.
And, of course, to remind everyone, the guy in charge of elections in Texas is a Mexican national.
I remember this same firm had a big leak last year too.
That was in Houston, IIRC...or...was it Houston where they (after an election) found hundreds of voting machines stashed in a warehouse.
Ping!
Where in Texas do all 254 Texas counties keep their voting machines?
Probably in the Alamodome.
Is that the Spanish company who owns the software and counts our votes? Yes, Spain. You’d be surprised at how many states and local governments give this power to foreign countries.
In Texas, voting machines are owned by the counties, and the counties store and maintain them.
Yo, yo, yo! Not need to speculate - I do NOT trust the Hildebeast.
That was in Houston. About the same time, voting was delayed because the machines were flipping votes so they had to sneak them out of the polling places. We’re not in Austin but hubby complained his vote was flipped. The demonrats don’t know how to play fair.
13,999 records were the obituaries of currently registered voters....
Silicon Valley almost gave us Clinton. They are hell bent on not failing next time.
The good news is only 7 million are actual people...
M means Millions to everyone but an accountant.
