Yes ! Plus he understands the importance of marketing and networking remember one of the first rallies when he handled an alinsky attack with finesse. DR Carson gave a knowing smile and I realized “they knew each other”. Started researching when and how (St Jude children’s hospital) and shortly after the Dr appeared on F&F and confirmed “Yes they knew each other for years DJT was just another guy in the —pause—area (neighborhood)”. I laughed out loud.
Remember how the cabal divided the field and won (EX Gingrich) Well DJT beat them at their own game. Cristi, Carson had been friends of his for decades. They ran as his wing men. Dividing the establishment base !

Montana and North Dakota are the last holdouts of what we called the Prairie Empire syndrome. West Virgina is in a similar vein. They flaunt a few socially conservative credentials to get over the finish line because a certain subset of the Bubba voters are addicted to government pork.
Our own village idiot (Bob Casey, Jr.) gets just enough of the Bubba vote for the same reason, so even though WV/PA are not "Prairie Empire" per se, there is a similar demographic in play.
Freeper Knarf is sort of an expert on this topic and if you have access to a way-back legacy link tracer he even lists an article I wrote over 10 years ago at http://www.FreeRepublic.com/forum/a39eab7333557.htm
“I believe Heitcamp is North Dakota.”
I guess! It one of those two states where your nuts freeze off in the winter!
Northern Minnesota has had below-freezing record cold already.
“Northern Minnesota has had below-freezing record cold already.”
I flew into Minneapolis-St. Paul on business in February one year. It was 9 degrees and sunny. On the ride in from the airport I sat next to a fellow from Minot, ND. He said he was glad to be where it was warm. My actual business was in Redwood Falls. I rented a FWD Explorer just in case. The next morning, we had a hurry up business meeting, because the plant was closing because of an impending blizzard. I drove in the blizzard back to Minneapolis and along the way picked up a stranded motorist an dropped her where she was trying to get to. Here in California, snow is something you go to to ski on, not live in.
HA....Bozeman is now referred to (by locals)....BOZANGELES...
Actually Montana has become more patriotic over time. Western Montana, due to the booming mines, an influx of Irish and eastern Europeans miners, the dangerous working conditions, and violence against miners instigated by the Copper Kings lead to communist agitation in cities like Butte, Anaconda, and Livingston. Also, homesteading in Montana occurred at a later time than the rest of the west, more than 80,000 homesteaders moved into Montana between 1909 and the early 1920's and many of them were European immigrants steeped in Marxism.

Billings, a cattle and oil town, is what keeps the Republicans in the game.
Bozeman, Helena, Butte, Missoula-—all are bright blue now.
The rural vote is all over the place, with older folks, Roosevelt Dems, people scared about health care and so on, facing off against miners, loggers, farmers and cattle ranchers who were leaned on hard by Obama and his gangs.
Californians and East Coast billionairs have been moving in for years. They’re almost all Leftists and are moving the state closer and closer to the kind of idiot policies that wrecked the cities they left behind.
Blackburn has to get the conversation about impeachment and the border, to put Bredesen on the defensive. I’m not sure she’s doing that. She seems to be kind of a GOPe type and those types don’t want to do that.
Montana is a mixed bag state. Lots of liberal idiots in the college towns of Bozeman and Missoula. Lots of union types in Butte. Way too many Indian reservations where they vote demonrat reflexively. Gubmint liberal idiots control Helena.
Conservatives stronger in Great Falls, Billings and the eastern part of the state, and most of the smaller towns and counties. It’s always a struggle to keep the evil demons at bay in Montana.
