Families of Sept. 11 victims have been on a 17-year-long quest to seek financial retribution from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which they claim funded the terrorist attack that took the lives of their loved ones.
Throughout the process, their attempts at uncovering the truth about Saudi Arabia’s role in the deadliest terrorist attack in American history have been impeded by the FBI and its former director, Robert Mueller — now famously the special counsel investigating collusion (or the lack thereof) between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.
New York-based lawyer Jim Kreindler, representing the families of the Sept. 11 victims, said in an interview with me that Mueller and his successor, James Comey, engaged in a systematic cover-up of evidence that the Saudi government aided the terrorists who committed the Sept. 11 attacks.
Kreindler and the victims’ families believe there are clear connections between the Saudi government and Sept. 11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar. Both men met with the employees of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs and received support from Saudi diplomat Fahad al-Thumairy, according to a 28-page report on the Saudi links to the Sept. 11 attacks.

The families of the victims learned the hard way the Mueller is a supporter of the terrorists and an enemy of the victims and their families.

Mueller became FBI director seven days before 9/11.
As a survivor of the 1993 attack I can testify that the FBI has yet to account for its role in the attempt to destroy the WTC at that time.

I think the best solution would be for the US to set up a fund to pay victims of foreign governments or terrorist organizations fixed amounts for injuries and deaths. Then the US can choose when and how it wishes to extract that money from the perpetrators to refill the fund.
It can decrease foreign aid, use hackers to steal funds from bank accounts, send in commandos to take gold deposits, etc. Depending on the state of international relations and tensions it can go about extracting the funds in the least or most controversial ways possible.
I think this would help the most people. I'm thinking about the Lockerbie case where the constant drone of victims ultimately provided justification for taking out Qaddafi leading to the Benghazi fiasco and aiding in the European migration crisis. If the victims had been paid off, the US could have gotten the money back from Qaddafi and the horrors that followed might have been prevented.

Is the lawsuit to somehow punish the Saudi’s, or just further enrich themselves?
More money will not bring their loved ones back, obviously.
That said, it seems to me it is the job of the Federal government to obtain retribution from Saudi Arabia. Maybe - just maybe - our 17 year war should have been with Saudia Arabia and not Iraq.
How about suing Jamie Gorelick for preventing the CIA from supplying information to the FBI (so-called Gorelick wall) that may well have prevented 9/11 or at least mitigated the damage?

The point is that Mueller was in charge of the investigation of 9/11 terrorists. Mueller deliberately lied and covered up involvement of and funding by Saudis.

Not the first evidence of Mueller’s treachery as a globalist stooge/goon, but quite damning in ways most will not comprehend or believe.
Accusations, sensational op eds and sources like “ agents I’ve talked with” are the stuff of today’s left wing. Conservatives should avoid emulating them and insist on, you know, evidence.
