White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) for her statements about sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
"Now clear why top Democrat on Senate Judiciary Committee did nothing with allegation for months or even ask Judge Kavanaugh about it," Sanders tweeted. "Senator Feinstein just said 'I can't say everything's truthful.'"
Feinstein told reporters on Capitol Hill earlier Tuesday that she couldn't say that everything in Christine Blasey Ford's allegations against Kavanaugh was "truthful."
Feinstein later clarified her comments to CNN, saying, "Based on what I know at this stage, she [Ford] is credible."
Feinstein also tweeted that she considered Ford to be "sincere" and "believable."
Ford alleges that Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed and attempted to sexually assault her at a party in the early 1980s.
Kavanaugh has unequivocally denied the allegations.
Feinstein was the first to bring Ford's accusations to the national stage when she announced one week before Kavanaugh's scheduled confirmation hearing that she was bringing a secret accusation against him to the FBI.
Feinstein has said that she has had Ford's accusations since July, a point with which Republicans have taken great issue.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) ripped into Democrats on Monday for not bringing the issue forward until "the eleventh hour."
Republicans have scheduled a hearing for Ford's allegations next Monday and have delayed the vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation, which they were expected to win.
It is unclear what will come of Monday's hearing, given that Ford's lawyer has said she will not testify until an FBI investigation has been completed
Gee, get the FBI involved. Now there’s a bunch We The People can trust, right?
Theatrics performed by the Democrats, and their duplicity is ripping at the heart of the country the founders envisioned
Wow. At first it was Bernie!
At Monday’s hearing, let’s just hear from Kavanaugh again, and let the Democrats ask him stupid questions, and let GOP senators point out that Dr. Ford was invited to attend but chose not to. Then move to the committee vote and end this charade.
If the damn Republicans do not have the final vote next week I will be done with the Party. Who is supposed to be the ranking party the communists Democrats or the Republicans? Getting really Fed off.
DiFi should be booted from the Senate. But she wont be.
At minimum she should be stripped of all committee memberships. She has proven she has terrible judgment and cannot be trusted with higher level information.
Her security clearance should also be greatly downgraded.
Thee FBI should get involved. They should Investigate Feinstein.
Here’s a real photo of Blasey. That’s her “brain” hat.
Give her the opportunity to come before the committee and then vote. My guess is she won’t appear and none of the Democrats on the committee will vote for him anyway. This is just a lame excuse.
If Feinstein had said that she believed everything in the letter was truthful, she would have assumed the burden of proving the truthfulness of the the allegations. Logic says that she simply can’t do that. By “clarifying” her remark and saying she believes Ford is credible, the burden of truthfulness remains with Ford.

That’s right. Monday should be the day of the “victim”’s testimony before Congress and/or the vote on Kavanaugh. This should all be over before next Tuesday.
Next week nothing....TOMORROW!!!!
It was a frivolous accusation about a town in one state. It’s not the FBI’s job to investigate that. Let the local sheriff do it, if he wants to waste his time.
