The events in this case are the 50th anniversary of the riots surrounding the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August 1968, the recent death of Sen. John McCain and the mind-numbingly idiotic statement by Fox News commentator Marie Harf on “Outnumbered” on Aug. 16 that “the highest form of patriotism is protest.”

Joe Lieberman wrote a very fine essay on 1968 as the turning point for the Dem Party a few years back. He stated it was the point at which the Dem Party lost the ability to tell America’s friends from her enemies. He was very critical of the leftist takeover of the Party and didn’t pull any punches.

I still want to know what kind of brain defect causes this commie thinking. If it can be found then fixed using laser surgery to burn it out or meds to kill the offending black matter then in a couple of generations this won’t be a problem.
