That’s the goal of any primary; to sink your opponent! Your supporters even try to sink the opponent in kind and say the nastiest things from all sides. HOWEVER when it comes to the general and it happens in EVERY ELECTION it takes time to slowly pull together, mend feelings and coalesce to a single candidate. This happens in EVERY election. He implored his audience to vote for Trump during the general and he (and I) was willing to give Trump a shot because many did not think he’d govern as a conservative. He has proven many wrong (including me) and THANK GOD. Therefore our positions have changed. Mark was very clear on this point post election. That he’d give him a chance based on how he governs. Trump has come through and there is certainly nothing wrong with that. In fact that’s called critical thinking and not emotionalism. Also you’re dead wrong about his ratings. His radio, including recorded shows as well as his television show rating have been extremely high. I know folks like to project the opposite but he’s released numbers many times and never dipped.

The democrap solution to this Kavenaugh thing is obvious. Tie bags of rocks to Kavanaugh and dump him in a lake. If he sinks and drowns, we’ll know he was telling the truth. How can anyone talk about US history, like he does constantly, and the founding of the country and ignore the fact that every founding father was protectionist and the main driver of the war was anti mercantilism? I don’t always agree with Levin (no “3” BTW) but he is very informative regarding SCOTUS related issues, and he has been extremely supportive of Trump because Trump has been conservative for the most part.

There are many points in history that holds relevance today but protectionist then and protectionist today as it relates to the economy then and the economy today are absolutely completely irrelevant. As to the position he takes on tarrifs I share PART of his outrage. Know where the money goes from said tarrifs? That’s right the big fat porker Government to tell us where best to spend that money because the unconstitutional government innplace today has always known best where that money they make from tarrifs should go. Who gets to choose who gets penalized? You’re aware there are over 10k tarrifs on the books today right? Who gets to pick the tarrif lottery as to which industry is punished? If the Government is in the business of now raising money via tariffs does this mean the elimination of the federal income tax? We all know our founding fathers implemented tarrifs to raise money for the Government to operate.

1) Levin isn’t an anti Trumper even though the term is infantile. For anyone still ringing that bell is ignorant
2) Levin implored his audience to vote for Trump live and on the air. Those holding their ears yelling “lalalala” doesn’t make facts go away. Those antics are reserved for the activists trying to overturn Kavanaugh.
3) primaries are reserved for those each of us get behind. I got behind a cantidate that did not win and as the party heals (AS HAPPENS EVERY PRIMARY) the party pulls together and brings the cantidate home.
4) the only folks I see continuing the Levin diatribe still to this day refuses to coalesce and bring the party together. The “butt sore” as those i coin who go from post to post chanting anti this and anti that like a grade school yard bully. Even the liberal robots seem to have better chants. Primaries are messy those that were on the outside cake back in an support our President. Those that supported since the beginning struggle brining the remainder in. Levin disagrees with some policies and that is his right and his opinion. Since when did so called conservatives kick those out with differing viewpoints on certain policies? What would you think if I said I thought Kavanaugh was a horrible choice for conservatives as a justice? Would I be coined “Anti-Trump?”
You’re not getting MY message. Levin may not be an anti Trumper, but he WAS an anti Trumper during the election, and virulently so. Levin implored his audience to vote for Trump in one sentence (only in the last month or so of the election), and in the next sentence trashed him and belly ached about how the GOP threw away a perfectly good chance to beat Hillary. If you want to lionize him for that, be my guest. I won’t.
Levin revealed his true character during the election. Nasty SOB. Were you here when he came onto Free Republic and engaged in nasty name calling and insulted Feepers for supporting Trump and for challenging him? I do. I don’t forget.
