A panel discussion featuring Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., in Boston next week has been moved due to security concerns amid a contentious battle to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Flake was confronted by sexual assault survivors at the Capitol on Friday after he said he would vote to advance Kavanaughs nomination.
Flake is appearing Monday at the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Boston to discuss the future of the Republican Party. The panel discussion, which will also feature fellow GOP member Ohio Gov. John Kasich, was originally scheduled to be held at Emerson Colonial Theatre. Emerson College President Lee Pelton decided to cancel the event for safety reasons.
The College just found out about Sen. Jeff Flakes appearance in Boston on Monday. We are seeking to exercise our right as the owners of the Colonial to have the panel canceled for safety reasons. I will keep you updated, he said in a statement.
In a later statement, Pelton said the event would be moved to a different location.
The Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit panel discussion with Sen. Jeff Flake and Gov. John Kasich has been moved to a more secure location in Boston. Emerson College is pleased that this important topic can be discussed and debated, he said.

28 Sept: Boston Globe: Flakes planned talk in Boston moved amid safety concerns
According to an agenda on Forbess website, Flake and Kasich are scheduled to discuss the future of the Republican Party.
In the age of Trump, a few national GOP leaders have stepped forward to offer a competing vision, according to a description of the event. In consecutive interviews, well hear their views of [where] the Republican Party needs to go....
Flake and Kasich “to discuss the future of the Republican Party...”
What a joke.
My fondest wish. And beat Kasich to a bloody pulp right in front of him.
The look on Flake’s face today, a lost soul, honestly the biggest pussy ever in the history of pussies..he looked like a defeated man all it took were a few Commie George Soros idiots to scare him from voting YES..that is all it took, Commies who act like my 3 year old nephew when his iPad is taken away
Dance with the devil Flake. Time to get burned.
I stopped being a republican on 1-20-2017. I am now a TrumpIcan
Couldn’t have said it better.
The fool Flake has even alienated the Bush wing of the party by delaying the Kavanaugh nomination. Why would he think he has any future with any faction of the party?
It wasn't a profanity or a threat or anything...I think I might have called out "liar" or something like that.
I thought GWB was burning up the phone lines last night. And he couldn't swing Flake?
Another W failure.
A man without a Party.
Even his nose veers left.
“A man without a Party.”
He doesn’t care about party - he doesn’t care about anything except a fat lobbying contract! Praying that PDJT pulls his security clearance as soon as his replacement is sworn in and that BOTH sides see him for the self-centered traitor that he is and kick him to the curb!
The wicked side of me would like to see him go to a bar in Boston and get rolled by a few chicks and have him wake up in a hotel room handcuffed to the bed with his wallet gone.
Sorry can’t help myself but this would be a fitting end to him.
Just like McCains but
“...A man without a Party....”
Also, a man without a constituency.
A man without respect.
A man without ethics.
A man without a soul.
A man on his way to Hell.
He sold it ALL for money.....A Judus.
