reminding us of what we have lost and may yet recover.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yes, we almost lost our Republic when all of our elected and appointed stood around and watched the Kenyan from Indonesia be sworn in as President on Usurpation Day in violation of our Constitution.
We may yet recover it if we vote out enough Democrats and Bush League Republicans.
It continues to amaze me how liberals cant see the truth as the reverse of this statement.
Liberals are insane or stupid/naïve.
This was the same guy who went apoplectic on TV that the US Supreme Court would not let the Democrats steal Florida for Gore.
Character & Obama Administrators
Our Last Chance? [Can Donald Trump Revive The "Spirit of '76?]
If Obama had an American "legacy," it would be that of an American Quisling. But since his only connection was basically accidental, I am not sure that he even qualifies as a full fledged traitor.
We can only hope that the “Obama legacy” is as irrelevant as that of, say, Warren G. Harding, who had the good grace to die before his very worst blunders became public knowledge, which were pursued and largely overturned by Calvin Coolidge.
I think it’s already gone.
The market take-off, the tax cuts, the unemployment, the changes to Obamacare, international relations...
His legacy is already back to that of Bath-house Barry.
He was a nothing burger then. He’s less than a nothing burger now.
Please, Lord!
Say whut?
Hardly. As long as a single leftist draws a breath, that last one will be busy trying to impose the will of an All Powerful State on anyone thirsting to breathe free.
The legacy of divide and conquer.
Divide and con
Obama strong-armed everything he got, from ObamaCare to DACA. He never built a coalition for his ideas because they were not good for our country, and he could not convince people beyond his own bootlickers. His method was the opposite of modesty, prudence and deliberateness.
WHEN Dems Lose Again, Obamas Legacy Is Gone Forever!
There!
Fixed it!
Now, all we have to do is make sure that we turn out the vote so that Demonrats lose the House and Senate on Nov 6!
I stopped reading there.
As I posted in Texas earlier today, Obama’s real legacy can be found in his effect on those who became emotionally invested in their choice to vote for him.
Before he was elected I saw him on a talking head show where somehow the question of if people who voted for him might be disappointed later arose.
To answer the question and apparently spin it as a positive Obama spoke of how the perceived cause of any potential disappointment, that he was still an unknown, was actually a great strength for him as a candidate.
Absent real knowledge about who he really was or what he really stood for, but only having wonderful sounding platitudes like hope and change (though he didn’t phrase it THAT away), he expressed the idea that people would invent a fiction, a version of an “Obama” that they would vote for to achieve the hope and change they wanted.
In essence, he had positioned himself to be the nice looking, sounding and adequately symbolically historical empty suit to whom people would flock.
Do you remember talk of him as an empty suit? Well, that was NOT accidental.
But the suit wasn’t empty. Rather a void of real information was cultivated, perhaps from as far back as his college days by his handlers, so that people could fill that void themselves.
Now, at the time Obama said that when people learned that their fantasy and the reality didn’t line up is why he allowed that some would be disappointed.
But did he really believe that?
With Clinton another phemonon was observed: that people would sometimes adjust their sense of right and wrong because they were emotionally invested in NOT having been wrong about Clinton.
In the same way Obama could really count on people adjusting their memories of why they’d voted for him, even their views so that could continue to agree with Obama, because they too must not have been wrong, and so they weren’t. Thus they were able to be effortlessly hauled places they might have resisted going, especially on matters of angry SJW issues or pro-Islamic views, as they accommodated who Obama seemed to be.
They did so in two ways. Partly in defense of their choice. Partly in defiance of those who found so much about Obama and his lawless administration to outrage ... namely: us.
For the last is why I finally observed that the Obama administration seemed to have begun managing scandal with scandal. They kept a steady stream of outrages coming, and like the proverbial frog in the frying pan this kept the heat increasing under their supporters as they learned, were conditioned, to not care about scandals as if all they could ever be was Hillary’s main contribution to our country, really one of two, the phrase “vast right wing conspiracy”.
So as those opposed to Obama became sensitized to scandal his flock became calloused against any suggestion that Democrats do wrong ... so more than ever the wagons circle themselves around Democrats.
This has been Obama’s legacy: a radicalized far Left wing that is angry and obsessed with their Just-Us against, and hostile to us Deplorables (Hillary’s other main contribution).
Who?
I know, it is a hard concept for the Alterites to grasp.
