The 64-year-old was agreeing with sentiments earlier expressed by Kagan suggesting that the exit of Kennedy could mean the reputation of the Supreme Court suffers.

'It's been an extremely important thing for the court that in the last 40 years, starting with Justice [Sandra Day] O'Connor and continuing with Justice Kennedy, there has been a person who found the center, where people couldn't predict in that sort of way
.
.
.
'That's enabled the court to look so it was not all by one side or another and it was indeed impartial and neutral and fair. And it's not so clear that I think going forward that sort of middle position — it's not so clear whether we'll have it.'

Well Kagan, why don’t you fix the problem by becoming a moderate yourself?

Agree, maybe you two leftists can actually pay attention to the Constitution and the law instead of you’re personal ‘feelings’.

She’s so biased, you can always tell her vote beforehand

She has no business talking, she’s a partisan who doesn’t belong on the Court

These two leftist activist hacks have no business being on the high court and it’s laughable to hear these two partisan liberals complaining about partisanship on the high court. Judge Kavanaugh is far more qualified to be a Supreme Court justice!

If she truly felt this way, she could always lead by example.

The partisans on the court are being political and trying to undermine constitutional based decisions. They have no interest in fairness.

Two left-wing, extremist political hack Justices need to welcome and embrace the Constitution.

Funny nobody was worried about this when Kagan and “the wise latina” were nominated.

...

The solution is so obvious, I wonder why she didn’t see it.

Oh boy, the wise Latina doesn’t look healthy at all. Perhaps she could help de-partisanize the Court by resigning during a Republican president’s term.

“These two leftist activist hacks have no business being on the high court.”

Trump’s “work” here will not be finished until there are “no sides” to the SCOTUS. ALL the Justices need to be applying the Constitution to ALL cases, and not their personal “ideas” which ignore it’s intent. I am looking forward to the next two SCOTUS appointments when Ruthie and Breyer go, and I hope those “departures” occur very soon. Tomorrow would not be soon enough.

We don’t understand...”coming to the center,” “partisanship,” “compromise” means:

GIVING IN TO THE LEFT!!!

Shouldn’t we all understand that by now?

Been preached by the Left for years, and years.

oye vey! is that jabba the hut? looks like all she’s been doing is eating everything in the cafeteria. Once again the minority supreme court judges are sounding off like their counterparts the liberal progressive subhumans who put them there. Yeah lets put aside partisan politics.

"That's enabled the court to look so it was not all by one side or another and it was indeed impartial and neutral and fair."

"Fair" has absolutely nothing to do with the court's business.. The constitution and the law should be their ONLY concern... It's that kind of mentality that's messing up our county...

These two are “centering” the average GPA on the court, at least. Kavanaugh is another straight A.

Sotomayor:"it's not so clear that I think going forward that sort of middle position — it's not so clear whether we'll have it."

There's nothing stopping YOU from taking a "moderate" stance, Sonya! It's not written into the constitution that centrist positions cannot come from justices appointed by loony liberals.
