Better yet, persuade DiFi’s chinese benefactors to do it for us. Subcontracting is the way to go.

Of course when British India divided between India & Pakistan there were no problems at all, right. (Rhetorical question) Even an ‘amicable’ agreement to separate will have its problems.

I’d say his analysis of how states might go is wrong and that some states - like California might break apart, but the central idea is one we should discuss. We have two big tribes who do not get along. Rather than a hot or cold civil war, would we not be better off agreeing to peacefully split?

OF COURSE there would be a lot of thorny issues to resolve. I have no illusions about that. Still, it could be done as numerous examples around the world including the 13 colonies secession from the British Empire simply demonstrate. By the way, states do have that right and this was always envisioned by the Founders. Nobody at the time of ratification of the constitution said states did not have a right of unilateral secession.

The problem is Leftist ideology requires the total centralization of power. They can’t just live and let others live. They must dominate and control. At the end of the day, you have to go along or stand against them. There is no third way of just minding your own business and getting them to leave you alone. They won’t.

“Conviction by Accusation” is just one step short of “Conviction by Execution” -the privilege of all the uber tyrants of the 20th century.

The financiers of the liberal left fools in the USA know exactly what it is they’re gunning for. THEY WOULD divide us against one another.

And they’re only one SC Justice and 2 Senators shy of it

If the constant inflow of retirees from New York and New Jersey were cut off for 20 years, much of the problem in South Florida would die off.

When it comes to hating your opponent and not willing to compromise, no one can beat a democrat.

They were this way since Andrew Jackson.

They started a Civil War, got their asses beat, and ruined the South for 3 generations.

The past 2/3rds of my long life has seen them go deeper and deeper into their natural hating selves.

They cannot help but demonize their political opponents. Anyone who disagrees with them is not just someone who disagrees, but someone EVIL. Their emotional hatred cuts through all arguments and disputes, even mild ones.

And they truly hate all the good this country, “our” United States of America, has given to the world.

“A divide that defies unity” but every state including California is mixed. There are millions of conservatives here.

For now. I know of some people in California who left for a new life in a more friendly state because of onerous taxes and insane politics. Many others have and are doing the same things. Yes, there are conservative areas in the state but overall the state is deteriorating.

Nah. Any secession hurts the whole country. There are a lot of conservatives in California. Do not give in to tyranny. Rather, repeal all the anti-constitutional laws in the states, by federal force if necessary.

You’re right about the debt being prorated out, but that doesn’t help much when it comes to financing the military we need to remain effective, field adequate forces and the like.

We’re already facing a nation with roughly four to five times our numbers, and now it seems we could potentially see our number of citizens drop by a significant amount.
