When the communist Democrats destroyed nationalism and patriotism, and they took away His-story only to replace it with geography, and made God unwelcome in schools, they destroyed the glue that held us together.
All the forcing of desegregating and antidescrimination had to opposite effect. Force creates resistance.
And when you destroy privacy, it causes people to want to dostance themselves from others because privacy is a human NEED.
They created instead a different kind of discrimination by insulting those with moral standing through next calling such as ‘homophobic’ instead of being respectful of others thoughts.
Political correctness is divisive.
We only have a short time with this reprieve, so all we can do is pray and be patient with those we’ld like to kick in the rump.

Noble sentiment but I cannot agree. I don’t want to reconcile with scum who make up lies to try to win and they don’t want to reconcile with me. They were not cordial when they were in power and they are complete jackholes in defeat, unwilling to accept it. The last time a Republican was allowed to win without whining was 1988, and believe me that is gonna be the last time EVER. They are now saying that Newt Gingrich “broke Congress”, cause everything was fine as long as they were in power for 40 GD years straight.
I still love my family members who are libs. All other libs can go blast off into the Sun. They want to take money out of our pockets (food out of our mouths), they want our families to be less safe, they want our country to be weak. How can we reconcile with that? You tell me how. You may as well try to get along with Al Queda, or with a hungry tiger.
And if you are referencing the civil war there was no real reconciliation there. The losing democrats took to lynching Blacks and White Republicans until they reestablished control of the South. Nothing has changed. They will tell any lie, use any violent tactic.
It’s not as if “both sides are to blame for a worsening discourse” THEY are to blame, entirely, because they are pigs who are not interested in being “polite” unless they are getting 100% of what they want. We (Trump, McConnell) have only recently started fighting back with anywhere close to the same ferocity. They are not gonna stop coming at us like GD zombies. It’s a (mostly, they tried to kill Scalise) cold civil war right now.
I don’t want to sound “wacky” but I had a terrible notion come into my mind, a democrat member of Congress trying to kill the President during the SOTU address, I don’t think we’re that far off from that.

As for a member of congress shooting Trump during State of the Union, I could conceive of that. Their hatred has reached that point.
