Actually when I sent a contribution in to John James I told him that this line would be a productive approach to Black men. I cannot believe that the men would vote for the brainless senator who voted to deprive men of their constitutional rights instead of a Black man who is a real man.
Who knows how many Black men are in the jail because of false accusation?
Those poor guys at Duke!
“Was that in the primary? ....perhaps against Foxx?”
No. He ran against Democrat Brad Miller in 2006 Dist 13. Sadly lost. I think he would have been a good one.
I like it, but I’ll do you one better...I’m a racist, you’re a racist, everyone’s a racist, no one’s a racist.
Since it is almost a staple of Leftist ideology, if not THE staple, that such proceedings are about power imbalance between the oppressors and victims rather than justice it is already pretty much already accepted that black persons suffer social injustice from convictions ... even if they did it ... it’s probably seen as par for the course.
All Obama was doing was clarifying who was where on the ladder of relative victimhood.
On numerable occasions I’ve attempted to point out that the fact that black jurors seem more than willing to convict black defendants (subpoint 1: it is difficult to seat a jury to in a serious matter stand in judgment over a black defendant that doesn’t include any black jurors and subpoint 2: it takes but one juror to prevent conviction) should falsify the idea that the conviction rate represents intended social injustice.
I’ve gone so far to opine that it may well be the case that black persons who are jurors, when they are actually the ones called on to decide guilt based on the evidence and the arguments presented, may be MORE willing than average to convict black defendants because they are all too aware that their victims were probably black.
I propose that they do so because black folks are simply sick and tired of the criminal element.
When I do present such arguments it usually bumps off Leftists’ dense noggins because to consider that means more than just consideing the actions of the actions of black jurors as real flesh and blood individuals but reconsidering the all pervading myth of power and oppression of different entities (”white people” vs “black people”, “men” vs “women”, “normal people” vs “homosexuals”).
The Left trades in myths that should not be questioned and therefore are rarely questioned by too many Leftist. These are the first principals for why they are Leftists in the first place and why their answer for the suffering of abstractions of persons for which the fate of actual persons to the contrary is seen as spurious (successful black people are still victims even if they don’t know it) is an abstract entity: government.
In the end justice is little more than Just-Us ... and social justice like social injustice has little to do with reality but everything to do with their twisted perceptions of reality through ideological lenses.
There you go. I had to sit through a ‘’diversity’ lecture at work on Thursday. I learned we’re all the same and everybody’s different.
And "Aunt Jemimas" - like Diamond and Silk
Is there a female-worded version of "Uncle Tom"?
Candidate no. 1 - Donna Brazile slave catcher
I like it - just a tad too many syllables....3-5 syllables keeps it catchy.
