GOP could still keep House majority 04:28

“Far from a sure thing” means they’re screwed and they know it, they’re just pretending they aren’t screwed so they can claim THE ELECTION WAS STOLEN again.
Wishful thinking once again mascarading as thoughtful analysis.
Follow the money. Political campaigning is a multi-billion dollar industry.
The Media is a large recipient of those billions of dollars.
The Media has a vested interest in promoting close elections so the political campaign begs donors for more money to spend on Media advertising.
Same thing is true for the pollsters. If the pollsters accurately polled, there would be no interest by the campaigns in conducting new polls if the current poll showed them far in the lead.
Senate forecast is based on Dems losing no more than two of six dead-heat races, and nothing from anything that even slightly leans their way in the current polling average.
Their internals must look like the aftermath of Hiroshima.
Voted a while ago, absentee.
From what I’ve seen over the past two decades (I was 30 when a friend told me about this board!!) is that early voting numbers, numbers of signs on the lawns, sizes of rallies (obama’s were SO tiny, we were told) and even exit polls mean nothing.
The only thing that counts is the actual vote cast.
We shall see in two days.
The exception regarding rallies was Trump, but you’re talking THREE times the number of people a place can hold showing up.
I will still astonished and shocked and THRILLED that he won.
A fellow NYer as president :)
And not a flaming liberal either.
“Favored” and “Far from a sure thing” are contradictory.
CNN is gonna be crying their eyes out like they did in 2016..with a whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat happenedddddddddddd look on their faces..Yep, it must be those pesky Russians again
Hillary was 98% sure to win per Huff Po election day in 2016.
Polls are now psy ops mechanism to get their rich billionaire donors to write big checks to the Dems.
They also use it to attempt to keep Republicans home.
Only REAL polls matter.
We will pick up 4-6 Senate seats and keep the House.
CNN? I have a gut feeling this whole blue wave reporting is nothing more than leftist propaganda designed to sway voter opinion by a point or two.
I think they’re terrified of a red wave.
From your mouth to God’s ears.
“Senate forecast is based on Dems losing no more than two of six dead-heat races, and nothing from anything that even slightly leans their way in the current polling average.”
Yup. The fact that their Senate prediction is for only a Repub pickup of one means their House prediction is WAY off biased.
>>The Media has a vested interest in promoting close elections so the political campaign begs donors for more money to spend on Media advertising.<<
I believe you are absolutely correct.
If elections are close, Rats will steal them in the courts.
Yes, the only question is by whom this time. Blaming the Russians is a bit stale at this point, but I could see them doing it again....and then psychotically calling for war with them. Blaming China is out of the question -- too many close ties, financial and ideological. They'd love to blame Bibi / Israel, but that'd risk alienating some big donors. So I'm going to go with the Dems blaming Trump's "fear-inducing racist rhetoric" for influencing fence-sitting voters.
I still believe true American will not vote for Commies.
Up til now, their lying polls and spin have been about motivating their base, like cheering for your team. But the clock is running down and reality is setting in.
>>We will pick up 4-6 Senate seats and keep the House.<<
Ya think the leftist have lost their ever-lovin minds now? Let the above come to fruition and they will go absolutely nuts all the way to 2020.
