NBC said on Monday morning that it will no longer air an immigration ad from President Donald Trump, widely derided as racially divisive, that aired during the network's NFL coverage on Sunday night.
"After further review, we recognize the insensitive nature of the ad and have decided to cease airing it across our properties as soon as possible," said Joe Benarroch, a spokesperson for NBC's advertising sales department.
NBC came under fire for airing the commercial during its Sunday NFL coverage of a game between the New England Patriots and the Green Bay Packers.
The ad aired 18 times across multiple networks. It also aired on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" on Monday morning.
CNN had declined to air the commercial.

I did not think the networks could pick and chose political commercials unless they contained obvious lies. This seems like a slippery slope.

Censorship pure and simple. NBC has no problem running highly negative ads against Republicans but falsely claim some sort of “high ground” when they don’t like an ad negative to Dems. This is another example of why much of the media is the enemy of the American people - they do not put out the news and let the American people think and decide for themselves. Instead, they censor that with which they disagree and push that with which they agree while at the same time claiming they are unbiased. That is detrimental to our nation and our form of government and that is why they are the enemy — even though idiot Romney doesn’t agree.
