We’ve been going the wrong way for many decades. Slowly at first, steadily through the years, but it appears to be exponentially increasing now to a crescendo. Likely a bloody one. Angry young men want a war.
A whole lot of voters voted for this yesterday. Even in Red States, they got crazy close. We truly are a country on the edge of a precipice.
There’s a great line in Revelation:
“His wrath is great because he knows his time is short.”
[The USA is going the wrong way, very fast.]
Last Sunday a friend was going to remind her congregation to vote their values on Election Day. A member of the church leadership team forbade her to do so, saying, “If you tell people to vote their values, we’ll have to let someone else tell them not to vote their values.”
I told her to change churches.
They vote for them, knowing that, because, if they could, they’d just kill us all and be done with it.
No mystery.
