The Latest on delays in counting votes cast for Tuesday's election in some Indiana counties (all times local):

4:20 p.m.

Officials in a northwestern Indiana county plagued by vote counting delays are asking the FBI to investigate alleged violations of state election law.

Porter County's commissioners asked the FBI on Wednesday to investigate "scores of alleged violations of Indiana Election Law submitted by poll workers, voters and the public" that the commissioners had received.

The county hasn't reported any Election Day results due to an array of problems on Tuesday, including the need for 12 county polling sites to stay open late Tuesday after those sites failed to open on time.

Rumors of MASSIVE Democrat Voter Fraud in this Chicagoland County, where Oprah has a home. Absentee ballot fraud, pre-loaded voting machines, everything.

So blatant. We have to take our elections more seriously. Is it that hard?

Man! I just hope we can hold the senate when all is said and done. If not, it’s curtains.

NW Indiana, for those who don’t know, is a Dem stronghold and very corrupt.

Donnelly is toast. The margin was far too big for fraud to help. But that won’t stop committed Liberals, and this could affect Jackie Walorski’s house seat.

Portage and Lake Counties in Indiana are infamous, not only for dead people voting, but voting multiple times.

Wiki shows it as a slightly Republican County.
Bizarre chain of events. I guess “sometimes everything goes wrong” may be the ultimate explanation.

I live in adjacent Lake County (Gary). We are very heavy blue but Porter County is RED. Valpo University is there but it is a religious (Lutheran) school. This should be a solid RED turnout.

Having judged an election before in Chicago I can tell you that the people the democrats send are the lowest of the low. One woman threw away half the book of voters once.

This is porter county it’s not run by the left. The guy running for prosecutor is a dear friend. This I’m afraid is shenanigans on the right. The prosecutor is corrupt.

As a Canadian, I don’t understand.

Absentee/mailed votes should be counted by the end each day. Voting machine data should be tallied hourly, or instantaneously.

Even extended voting hours due to unforeseen circumstances/turnout should not delay the tally results.

If computers are slowing the process that much, maybe it would damage democracy less if was all done by paper ballot.

But...I guess paper ballots could always be forgotten in the trunk of a car, for a day or 2, if still needed

Not that, that would ever happen, or ever has.

They delay so they can manufacture fictional ballots or substitute ballots

That’s the great thing about computers/internet you can’t delete your social media posts. Once you post, it’s permanent. Only Facebook and Twitter can delete your post, so the tabulators can keep track or demonize you.

Is it the same with computerized voting machines? Tabulation should be instantaneous, no? Or, can they delete your “posts”?

Doesn't Indiana have a state police that does......like investigations and stuff to enforce state statutes? Why is the FBI needed?

It's a state issue. Running to FedyLand reinforces we need a Federal Daddy because we can't govern ourselves.

Mailed in ballots, in favour of Democratics, seem to arrive over a 5 day period.

Fake pipe bombs mailed from Florida, to addresses all across the Country, was seem to arrive on the same day. Hmmmmm?
