The Legendary Low Ratings CNN is desperately trying to pull themselves out of a ratings nose dive with this ridiculous lawsuit/stunt.
Little Jimmy PeePee Pants KNOWS his career is OVER without his White House press pass.
Bwah hah hah, I hope hes losing sleep, developing an ulcer, having panic attacks, cr@pping his pants, etc. The thought of him suffering puts a big grin on my face.
SCOTUS ruled exactly the same way in 1972. Branzburg v Hays.
Yes, he’ll still scream out questions, but Trump/Sanders should just ignore him. For that matter, they should ignore CNN altogether.
“Great story. I believe the New Jersey standard is that a person is covered by the NJ Shield Law as a journalist as long as they are engaged in an activity that is aimed at disseminating information to the public in some manner (newspaper, TV, radio, web blog, standing on a street corner with a bullhorn, etc.). Is this true?”
Pretty much, as there was one case denied but that entailed someone posting to a bulletin board forum and thus was not subject to the NJ Shield Law protections. Bottom line, if someone is making an effort at reporting news; it’s news. Everyone has similar rights and protections under the NJ Constitution. The right of reporting is not the exclusive domain of any “official” news organization.
The voter fraud case I reported and testified to in early 2014 via my local website dedicated to government and corruption recently saw several arrests and indictments with pleading guilty just last week:

Acosta isn’t a journalist. He’s a pundit.
Perhaps Acosta can exercise the same First Amendment Rights like the performance artists that smear themselves in their own feces. Actually, that’s pretty much what he does at the White House.
Tell them to replace Acosta, then don’t call on that person for the next year....
