“Heartwarming.”
“Great story for Thanksgiving.”
“What a great Thanksgiving story. These people are the best!”
lol
Yet Hillary (Clinton Foundation) Clinton walks free.
Can the public sue those panhandlers on the street who sometimes bank $400 a day?
Too friggin' weird!
I’m always extra careful with the ‘I’m a poor homeless vet’ schtick. Even if they are vets I imagine its often still a scammer who got washed out of boot or spent a tour of duty in an office building and is now giving the vast majority of vets a bad name. Vets are overwhelmingly decent normal folk who go on to live productive lives after their enlistment. Not the out in the street hallucinating about Nam stereotypical Hollywood image of a vet.
Gotta hand it to the very small number of folks posting on a local news website here in New Jersey who pegged this story as a fraud months ago.
They are no different than the Red Cross. With the 9-11 donations, they bought new office furniture, with the donations for the flooding in Texas, they decided to save the money for other disasters. The money was donated for certain efforts, and was directed elsewhere.
Hey! This is how the dim bulb Cortez can get her rent money. She doesn’t have much to do for the next month or so; she can hang out on a street corner with a cardboard sign saying “Will Shut Up For Rent Money”.
That’s why I frequently refer to it as GoFraudMe here.
I’ve thought about posting a GoFraudMe telling folks I need money (not why or what) and see how many are stupid enough to contribute. Maybe a picture of a sad looking dog or cat.
