I would say you’re probably correct. The Democrats don’t want to be embarrassed with proof of an under-count on the Republican side.
It would make the look like cheaters....(cough)
So, they went for the 2-minute delay to claim - “Hey, we TRIED!”.
They didn’t do 30-seconds nor 1 minute late because they didn’t want it to possibly get in. Yeah, I’m adjusting my tinfoil because Democrats cheat SO OFTEN.

So, wait... Shouldn’t Snipes brought up on felony charges for disenfranchising those voters who were NOT counted in the machine recount due to her (deliberately) filing the results two minutes too late???
Not that I’m holding my breath for that ever happening, but seriously now... Why is the GOP not making this very case regarding the Florida Dems’ intentional voter disenfranchisement here??? I thought the whole objective was to COUNT EVERY VOTE!
Well to be precise, its because the democrats under estimated republican turnout, and failed to print enough extra ballots.
I think its standard pracise now among democrat run precincts to cast a significant number of ‘votes’ for democrats they don’t expect to show up to the polls.
Sometimes they get too greedy and cast more votes than there are voters, as seems to happen in some democrat run counties every presidential election.
Other times they just screw up with far too many republican unexpectedly voting.
Our election system in many states and counties is made to facilitate fraud. There is literately next to no data being kept to identify illegal activity. Cheating the system is as easy as walking around the unlocked gate.
Broward finished the recount before 3PM Thurs and were celebrating and not up loading the totals to the state. They uploaded at 3:02PM 2min late when they did so the new totals did not count.Why celebrate and not upload could it be because Repub gained votes?
Broward finished their recount long before the Thurs 3PM deadline yet Snipes did not do an upload until 2min past the deadline. We all know this was because Repubs gained votes. Can this be challenged in court?
Same with Palm Beach what was the total when they missed the deadline? I will bet Repub were gaining votes If Dems had been gaining votes they would have meet the 3Pm or Nelson’s lawyer would be in court
