so what exactly could a judge rule on? no actual action has been taken by the President, only a threat of POSSIBLE action ...

The Trump admin should tell this judge who he can and can’t have in his court room and what they can and can’t say. Just to point out the stupidity of his decision.
Move the press room out of the WH.. The word ‘press’ used to have the words ‘fair and impartial’ attached to it.
No more.. They have evolved into creatures that are unrecognizable as press.
The judge here has really overstepped his authority both constitutionally and in his use of judicial injunctions.

The First Amendment doesn’t cover bullying. Now we’re going to have all sorts of kids at schools saying they have a constitutional right to be little jerks. Liberals are always such good role models.
Eventually CNN will lose.
In the meantime, Trump needs to create high standards of civility. The media won’t be able to ask demeaning and insulting questions. They won’t be able to get away with multiple questions or repeated interruptions.
CNN will regret that they took this approach.
