You BAD!
Great. Now I CANT drink it :)
BE FOREWARNED: Third party services that block “pornography” also block other types of sites such as gun-related websites (The High Road, Glock Talk, AR-15.com, etc.,) and “hate speech” channels LIKE FREE REPUBLIC.
It will be interesting to see if FR is blocked at Starbucks with their “identified” solution.
Interesting another way to loose a business. No mention of Free Speech?
Do ANY conservatives go to StarPunks? The only time in my life that I have gone into a StarPunks is when my boss would hold a ‘team building’ session there. If the company held a meeting and was buying, yes, I was OK with burnt coffee at a leftist store; otherwise, perhaps Tim Horton’s but most likely McDonald’s coffee for me. Screw StarPunks!
Would be interesting if they listed those sites as in how many - would they consider conservatives as porno sites?
I have used them for wifi and it’s a pretty good service.
Regarding porn, my question is, how can they stop porn? They’d have to have some way to filter it before the wifi signal went out, right? Or would they intrusively gain access on customer devices and monitor them? Regardless, if they block porn, then they can also control political content. news and advertising. Smells like a Gestapo operation to me.
Their coffee is just awful.
They most likely hire a filtering service or buy some software that has a list of forbidden websites. Kind of like the services that ban freerepublic in places.
homeless people are gonna protest losing their porn supply.
>> Cant they be asked to leave?
Starsucks new policy is to not ask people to leave even if they don’t spend a dime.
That’s fine - I don’t go to starbucks for the porn anyway. As a matter of fact, I don’t go to starbucks at all!
>>Libraries have been blocking porn for a long time,
The American Library Ass. (ALA) opposes that policy and doesn’t age-restrict ANY materials in the library including R or NC-17/X films.
Public libraries allow porn...just sayin
Where are libraries blocking porn...the ones around here call it free speech last I heard
Wouldn’t a VPN make this a moot point anyway?
Gun Porn or Car Porn ?
These days, thats what public libraries are for.
I thought it was from Abyssinia?
So, where do you go for your porn and coffee? Mickey Ds? LOL!
