I like that approach, Trump should call the dems out on thier lack of seriousness on boarder security by saying it is nothing more then a bargaining chip for them, they don't care about America.

Schumer's posturing, notwithstanding, who would get blamed depends on how the PR is handled; how each side presents its arguments. The Left--as is often the case--counts their chickens before they are hatched. A calm, rational & well constructed exposition on why the border wall is needed, could still determine the fall out.
