Many things, ... like how long the shutdown goes on. Since it is reported that 75% of the government is already funded (not impacted), what if the majority of Americans don’t miss the other 25%?
The media is great at pushing polls to advance an issue or to force Congressional votes in a certain (leftward) direction. It seems conspicuously absent (up to my typing this) that the media has not published a poll about whether Americans are in favor of $5 billion for a wall, instead of a govt shutdown.
