GOP senators emerged from the closed-door meeting in visible disbelief that President Trump is refusing to sign a seven-week stopgap measure to fund the government that cleared the chamber by a voice vote less than 24 hours ago.
Senate GOP leadership appeared confident on Wednesday that Trump would sign the stopgap, which will fund approximately 25 percent of the government, as long as they kept poison pill policy riders out of it.
But Trump, under fire from conservative pundits and lawmakers, reversed course Thursday.
“You're ruining my life,” GOP Sen. Susan Collins (Maine) joked to The Hill when told about the decision. “No-I don’t think the votes are [there], ugh, we can’t have a government shutdown, period,” she said. “It’s never good. How many times do we have to learn that?”

How many times does it take before you realize that a Gov shutdown is meaningless?
I find it amazing that very shortly we will see more and more criminals being released from federal prisons, we will see drugs flowing across the border along with foreign criminals, but we won’t see one foot of wall built anywhere along the border. Every single member of Congress should be charged with DEPRAVED INDIFFERENCE, and sent to occupy the cells of the drug deals being released upon us.

I am in disbelief over the level of corruption of our GOP Senate. A $25 billion border was is a no-brainer that pays for itself. But I know you Senators need to make some money on drug running and human trafficking . . . corrupt bums.
