The longer this goes on and the more information escapes to the people about making sure the right people come in and eventually the Three Pillars are going to run out of snarky clichés for their side. The last thing they want is Americans really asking what workers are getting from cheaper labor, drug runners and sex traffickers. If you didn’t have illegal labor you wouldn’t need minimum wage laws.

I believe the Three Pillars of Propaganda have brainwashed such a large percentage of American youts that there is no chance of the conservative message ever getting through the brain addled smart phone addicted last two - possible three - generations of DNC households in America. Throw in the masses of UNDOCUMENTED RAT VOTERS, and the nation is already over the proverbial cliff.

I know that is a very negative attitude to be posting here on FR but that is just the way I see it (in my seventies)

Great post,IMHO, we have the dem/rats vote-buying all the welfare causes they can keeping millions out of the work force. Only someone like kabar would know what the true unemployment rate actually is.

One of the realities of the current world based economy is that the U.S. work force is over payed relative to the rest of the world.

Compared to Western Europe and Japan? There is no doubt that our workers and those in the developed world are paid more than in the Third World. Our workers are also more productive. The US is not that dependent upon exports.

The bottom line is that the U.S. "salaried" work force will need to take a pay cut of up to FORTY percent to be economical competitive with the Low Cost Centers.

Nonsense. We don't have to have a race to the bottom. There are a number of factors that contribute to competitiveness in the global economy. Productivity, cheap energy, educated workforce, tax and regulatory policies, protection of property rights, stable and non-corrupt governments, etc.

The fact is, the US has not been playing on an even playing field. Our trade policies have resulted in the offshoring of our companies and good paying jobs. The theft of intellectual property from our innovative industries. Foreign governments subsidizing their products and dumping them on the US market, e.g., steel and aluminum. Foreign countries closing their markets to US products using high tariffs while we don't reciprocate. I don't buy your globalist/libertarian views.

Immigrants, legal and illegal, use welfare to a much greater extent than the native born. If we had less immigration and a smaller surplus of labor, wages would go up making it more attractive to work than collect welfare.

Looks like the RBG broken rib was a biopsy and found out they had to remove either a node or a part of her lung. She seemed to come back from that broken rib awful quick for an 80 yr old.

I've just learned from Chuck Todd's opening 45 sec intro that DJT and the country are doomed: Govt. shutdown, Mattis quits/Syria's toast, maybe Fed's Powell as well, conservative pundits run the country while R leaders abandon the Pres. Oh my !..the chaos !

Alternatively, imho, dems will be seen to favor the invasion of illegal immigrants looking for welfare, guns, drugs, and gangs and fold before DJT does.

Mattis was politically correct and out of touch, and even John Bolton had to admit the job in Syria was 99% complete, and now Saudi Arabia has stepped in to help the Kurds.

While the Fed's interest rates aren't helping the stock market, these minor increases indicate a very strong economy in the future (3+ in Q3 !). I wish DJT would view it from that perspective.

I doubt DJT needed a prod from Coulter or Limbaugh, but a reminder of our support for his policies, GoFundMe, and Mark Meadows from the house floor never hurts.

It’s just that sometimes when I see these crazy low unemployment numbers I have to wonder if those that stopped looking for work and just took welfare were counted as well what the real number would be?
