Morgan, the New York Times and the Washington Post attempted to spin this as an experiment, but influencing an actual election is not an experiment. When Morgan’s people faked Russian bot support for a Republican candidate, and Morgan then helped spread the allegations, that’s not an experiment, it’s a dirty trick.

Someday we'll discover the whole 'charlottesville thing' was a dem dirty trick...

hoping someone will post this separately as an “article”:

30 Dec: Boston Herald: Adriana Cohen: Democrats’ fake data scheme in Alabama sheds doubt on James Comey investigation
What if the president is right that the “Russian collusion” investigation really is a hoax waged by a witches brew of political foes to derail his administration?...
Here’s the kicker: It wasn’t the Kremlin using deceptive propaganda tactics to dupe Alabama voters — it was former President Barack Obama’s allies in Silicon Valley who orchestrated the shadow operation...

In addition to Hoffman who poured $750,000 into AET and millions more into other political organizations and “dark money” groups to help Democrat candidates last election cycle, the fake Russian botnet group is run by Obama administration alumni — including appointee Mikey Dickerson among others.
Hoffman has since apologized and now feigning ignorance. How convenient — and a tad too late — given that the Alabama Senate seat long held by conservatives for two decades has already flipped to Democrats — thanks in part to “Russian collusion” lies paid for by Democrat operatives.
Sound familiar?...

Voters would be naive to believe anything Comey’s FBI’s tells us when it used a “salacious and unverified” dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee to spy on political opponents. A discredited dossier fabricated by Russian informants and an ex-British spy who was fired by the FBI for lying...
Bottom line: Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker must appoint a new special counsel to investigate all of the above...

It wasn't a "dirty trick" as much as it was commie theater of the absurd. I remember flicking through the TV a couple of years ago and on the news they brought out a 13 year old black girl reading platitudes about how raciss a statue that no one ever noticed was...THAT, to me, was a typical false-flag setup. Then as the commies in the city gubmint and news media continued to pimp out the narrative, the city government decided to grant the KKK a permit to "march" downtown. Apparently they couldn't find any KKK members in Virginia, so they had to import 6 or 7 old guys from NC. Pretty pathetic!

As I pointed out repeatedly the d-bags obviously WANTED the "KKK" to march. There was no impetus or precedent that required the city gubmint to grant a permit to march downtown. If the "liberal" denizens were afraid of being sued (or some nonsense) for refusing to grant the people they supposedly loathe so much a permit, they could have only granted a permit to march on the edge of town. That was the setup...throwing red meat to the hungry wannabe commies in C'ville.

So behold...a nutjob from Ohio who they tried unsuccessfully to paint as a rightwing extremist gets life, a dumb woman (who amongst the other idiots who went downtown that day) dies, 2 cops die in a helicopter crash (I am sure that got cheers from the mob)...all so the "liberals" can dramatise their anti-passion play and no one can remember what caused all of this to happen in the first place.

I am sure there will be a line of morons who will insist it was all about a statue or racism or something, but in strictly political terms the district that encompasses Charlottesville is still represented by a Republican in congress, 2 Democrat delinquents in the Senate, and the elected town council still gets tingles up their legs when they see a Che Guevara t-shirt.

Interesting notes: The nutjob driver got a life sentence plus plus. A good friend of mine was on the jury and the word I got was his woman lawyer was really bad. A second year law student could have gotten the trial moved out of C'ville, and although the threshold for Not Guilty by Insanity is very high in Virginia, the guy is a for real headcase as was proven in the trial. He needs to be in an institution, but although that plays perfect for all the idiots who think all conservatives are crazy, their Kabuki theater got people killed...as it always does. The proof to me that whatever scam they were trying to pull off failed, is how little the national media coverage the trial got. Also, after all was said and done, the only people who followed the rules required by the city permits to march was the KKK!! What does that tell you?
