It’s clear we are in new cold war with the ChiComs. What will it take to convince Free Traitors™ the off shoring to China of our industry was and still is a disaster that they brought on us for no good reason?

You guys need to educate yourself on China—our mainstream media is keeping you totally in the dark. While we have decimated the effectiveness of our military over such stupid issues as letting transgenders serve and enforcing political correctness and discharging hundreds of commanders who have refused to endorse the LGBT agenda and have replaced them with pro-LGBT brown-nosers, China has been building its military. They already have military control of the South China Sea and are building their network around the world.

Most scary is that Chinese nuclear weapons are now more advanced than ours and we can’t stop them. Oh, and yeah, they just landed a remote vehicle on the Moon today. We don’t have even the technological capability to do that anymore in our country.

The U.S. did this to itself by allowing China to take over the world’s economy—all for selling our country down the river to buy cheap Chinese crap because we were too lazy to make anything anymore. Now they own us—literally.

Note also that China is entering into illegal direct treaties with individual states like California on issues like the environment.

Trump demand that this general be removed from command or we block our ports from Chinese goods.

“...the size of the Chinese Army was basically the population of the United States.”

Yes, but can the Dragon swim? If it could, Taiwan would have been conquered long ago and it’s in the Dragon’s backyard.

There is no China Order of Battle analyst I’ve spoken to that believes that. So what are your credentials?:

I think I recall from a few years back that the size of the Chinese Army was basically the population of the United States. Is that true?

No, it's about 2 million.

However, America still has the best training, thanks to Baron Von Stueben. In Korea the Chinese lost 180,000 and the US lost 54,260. But China wasn't even fighting during the whole war.

IOW, they want to start WWIII.

Once again, the US better make friends with Russia before China pulls them into an alliance.

That’s a bit much

As though Shiite Amal or Hezbollah couldn’t manage some bombs on their lonesome without Ollie Norths cash.....which got some hostages in Lebanon released too btw

North was the implementer

Not the shot caller

” ... remember 70 to 85 million Japanese died because of WW2.”

The total population of Japan at the outbreak of WWII was about 70 million. About 3 million Japanese died as a result of WWII.

Trident II can drop a 475kT W-88 warhead within 90m of any selected point on or upstream of that thing.

Unfortunately, China can now beat the crap out of our military.

No, they can't. The USA can simply stand by and ask Japan to beat the crap out of China, which Japan can do. Impressive for a "self-defense" force.

China is dependent on the USA and other countries for oil. China is the world's largest importer of oil. The US is an exporter; we're self-sufficient in oil production. China's military is dependent on oil imports to function; we can quickly wipe out their oil supply chains.

Note: this is the reason Japan attacked us in WWII, because we blocked their access to oil. China would not dare attack us in the same fashion, because they know what we did to Japan.

>>So, their headcount is irrelevant.<<

...and they lack large scale logistical support infrastructure to fight way away from their mainland much less the means to get large troop concentrations abroad in a timely manner.

I read once that the PLA has a program in place to commandeer all vessels to include fishing boats in an invasion of Taiwan. The article went on to express the shear disaster it would be for the Chinese as our warplanes would sink / eliminate thousands of Chinese troops attempting to traverse the straits.

That said, we would most certainly have to be careful to keep our carriers out of range of Chinese surface to surface missiles.

There’s no such thing as an open conventional war between nations with large nuclear arsenals. Sink a carrier, you are in a nuclear war. We bomb their dams and military bases, they launch.

There’s a lot of puffery about conventional warfare, but in reality, between the USA, Russia, and China, there are two kinds of war. One is proxy warfare like Vietnam, Korea, Syria, Ukraine.... the other is nuclear war.
Only our Generals believe they can conduct a short conventional war and that they enemy will simply accept defeat and then apologize and join the globalist new world order on our terms.

“The standing regular Chinese army (not counting reserves, border patrol, etc.) has about two million soldiers.”

But their ability to project power is very low. That big army only matters if someone was idiot enough to go there. You know, like try to fight a land war in Asia.
Our leaders would never be that stupid./s

I don’t think they want to start WWIII at all.

The Chinese government, just like all totalitarian regimes, is most interested in self-preservation.

While the U.S. hasn’t won a war, per se, since WWII, the closest thing we’ve come to fighting a symmetric war was tearing down Saddam Hussein, and that we were murderously effective at.

I would argue we are more than capable of prosecuting an asymmetric war also, if we relaxed the rules of engagement.

Our entire military is built around dismantling a country with vast infrastructure like China.

While it wouldn’t be the one-sided massacre we saw in Desert Storm, a conventional war would not go well for China. The impact would be devastating to both economies, however.

That is assuming rational heads prevail and China does not resort to targeting population centers or nuclear weapons to save face.
