Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) on Thursday confirmed that he will seek a fifth term in the Senate. Asked on CNNs New Day whether he would run for reelection in 2020, Durbin replied that he would, adding that his response shouldnt be taken as a formal announcement.
What Ive said is, Im raising money and Im trying to lose a few pounds, and thats a good indicator that Im looking forward to 2020, Durbin told CNNs John Berman. Durbin would almost certainly coast to an easy reelection in Democratic-leaning Illinois. Not running for President? What is wrong with him?
Couldn’t we get Trump to pardon Blago out of prison, and let him run a campaign against Durbin? I’d be willing to throw a hundred into a Blago campaign.

Try this for a campaign slogan Dick: Turdbrain for head turd in the cesspool.

It keeps us fooled and amused and they get all they want.
Sounds normal. Important to keep idiots and incompetents in government.
It's all about Dick.
30 years? Time to retire, Dick.
But then, you won’t get those millions under the table.
30 years? We REALLY need term limits.
Is Durbin dating RGB?
He is not going to be able to run again while he is in Gitmo or Leavenworth.
I wonder if Illinois will ever wake up. I doubt it...
Just like McCain he will stay as long as the fools keep electing him.
